'Jon in awe of noise at the Gate' (1 Viewer)

Jon Stead praised both the attendance and noise of 'City's 12th man'. And I would like to take the time to say thanks to Stead, for his complimentary comments about us. Because he certainly couldn't have been talking about the Bristol fans who were silent until their 2nd goal.
Perhaps he was confused from his time with us, and to what songs belong to his current club.
Either way well done to all the guys who managed to get a ticket for the game and got down to the gate. It was a really good away atmosphere- shame the lads consistantly let us down in big games where the sky blue army travel in force.

I didnt think our noise was that great to be honest considering our numbers. The odd Sky blue song here and there thats about it. We've got plenty of songs but didn't seem like everybody knew the words on Monday.

'Gerken is his name, Gerken is his name, he stinks of piss and he's got no mates, Gerken is his name' Why were we singing that?

They were much better than us, not great up until the 2nd half though. We were half decent after we scored, piss poor apart from that. Burnley will be better with less than half the fans.
