Gaunty was on CWR tonight talking to presenter Malcolm Boyden. Pretty well pro-sisu talk, or to be be more precise no alternative as yet. Tim Fisher apparently is a nice bloke. His main point was he has started some sort of facebook page to build up a momentum to get the council and/or ACL to lower the rent, don't reaaly understand this facebook thing. Slagged off the council and especially Councillor John Mutton for his anti-sisu views and not selling them the Arena.
To me this all seemed very convenient the day the mysterious Joy Sepella was in the Telegraph promising jam tomorrow. Funny how so-called city fanatic Jon Gaunt didn't come on radio weeks ago to give his opinion on the lack of support for his clubs football manager.

Although i used to like his programmes especially on Talk Sport he is a very rude individual is Mr. Gaunt, who I know reads these websites despite denying it. He is right and thats it. He did say Gary Hoffman is according to him a very good friend (must have a bob or two) he (Gaunty) can assure us all he (Hoff) is a million miles away from securing any takeover. Cheery fellow isn't he.

Yes and gaunty has been dropped by the national radio and press he needs a platform to publicise himself. Mr controversy trying to stir up a job for himself on local radio and he never pays for a ticket.

As he said i live in leaminton, down sized from the northamton mansion he bragged about.

Try paying for a ticket and we might have a little more income,
Gary hoffman is a very good friend of mne, ho ho ho you mean you met him once

Yes, I can't help but think he wants a platform for self-promotion, that Gary lad was quite blunt with him on Twatter last night:claping hands:

He's an idiot and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near any kind of media outlet. Nearly everything he says is based on theory and devoid of facts. If he actually researched anything properly he'd realise he talks shite.

John "I'm great - just ask me" Gaunt comes in on the side of SISU. what a PEN fifteen. Yet another commentator who thinks he is a football guru because he got free tickets and had a glass of beer with the director once!

A true working class hero who has never had a "proper" job in his life ! Its truly laughable. John writing a couple of plays, a failed nightclub and spouting tripe is not a job - certainly doesn't qualify you as a working class man!

Go back to writing emmerdale scripts!

The sad thing is. Some people look up to him like he is some sort of hero

I worked with this vile man when he (and I) was at BBC CWR many years ago. He was the breakfast show presenter at the time, but tried (and failed) to emulate his hero James Whale, another so-called "Shock-Jock". He used to walk around the studio as if he owned the place.
He would rave on and go red in the face screaming about subjects he knew nothing about. I used to watch him from behind the glass in the production studio. Quality giggles at his expense!!
He then went on to work for Three Counties Radio. No-one at CWR felt unhappy about it. We couldn't wait for him to leave!

Agreed! He is an embarrassment to both him self and the good people of Coventry. Jumped up little no mark looking for some fuel to fire up his hopeless career. Big mouth, no trousers!

Pro-Sisu - Gaunt, total c**t, sacked for injudicious comments on air.

Pro-Hoffman - Keys, total c**t, sacked for injudicious comments on air.

By the same token SISU are stuck with us and the fans provide an increasingly important share of income..... right now there is going to be less income from the League and sponsorship. It isn't a one way street.

It would be unwise of any owner to simply expect loyalty without cultivating it.

SISU might be the only game in town but that doesnt excuse the lack of openess and communication to date. Perhaps they are finally understanding that investing in a football club is not best done in the usual hedge fund manner.

I wonder if that Canadian bloke they just brought in as an advisor to Sisu is having an effect.

Gaunt most certainly isn't my cup of tea. His way of "winning" an argument is to shout louder than the other person or cut them off altogether. Mike Dicken would have eaten him alive.

Gaunt usrd to bad mouth George Galloway too when on Talk Sport but never had the guts to take him on. Gorgous George would have verbally ripped him to bits.
