potentially two things have happened here:
Either MR is a short sighted, money grabbing c**t.
Or there's something behind the scenes gone drastically wrong, which we will probably never find out.

Why would they put a buyout clause in for him? That is usually at the employees request!
Employee would ask for the clause and then both parties would agree the fee I'd imagine
