Stupid imo anyway, v stuck to one country. But when the country's are Saudi Arabia, Egypt and... Greece? then you have to question, once again, football's sanity.

Im glad the British bid has been abandoned, it was doomed for failure. Much prefer the idea of having the Euros back as British bid in 2028.

I said on another thread the world cup would be in Saudi soon.
Never considered they'd go for a joint bid but it makes perfect sense if you're trying to temper down the controversy.

I'd say sure, have a joint bid with 2 other countries-but you have to qualify as well.

I'd be more concerned by the 2,500 miles between countries, a stretch of sea, and the odd continent.

All to do with the gravitas a European country lends to the bid, sod the supporters and the environment!
Having said that, the distance between venues at the next world cup is probably greater
