A bit like the Northern Ireland peace process which were aided by a Catholic priest secretly acting as a go between for Gerry Adams / Sinn Fein / the IRA in proxy negotiations with other nationalists, the British & Irish governments and the unionists.

Absolutely brilliant story. A massive thanks must go to John. I always felt mediation was the only answer and could never understand why the FL didn't instigate it.

It's a bit weird that he refers to it as a 'miracle' though, Jesus won't be happy with that.

I'll be waiting for the feast of the five pies and two hot dogs against Gillingham.

Or the attempt to turn Carlsberg into beer.

God put his best man Jesus on the case as He was too busy helping all those Emmy and VMA winners if the acceptance speeches are true.

I'd heard he had been involved in some way. Well done that Man. He's certainly not playing down his role in it though!!

I think the timing was spot on. If this had been tried 6 or 12 months ago I don't think it would have worked. Also worth noting Joy is a Christian so he was likely just the right person to soften her up.

She'd have met him because he is a prominent figure in Coventry.

so to become a Very reverend you have to be a monsignor.

back onto google on how to become a monsignor.

this has upset me.

By the way well done John

Not as far as I know, but the mediator he took with him did and in football situations too.

Does it really matter why she met him? She did, and now we are back at the Ricoh.

You're forgiven too.

And, yes, she probably did meet him because he is a man of God. She probably listened because they have some things in common. I'm just happy there is someone who could get through to her.

I'd have said that all this conflict isn't very Christian, but the Bible's basically all action.

Because that took a modicum of intelligence--so the FL got ruled out.

So it took a man of the cloth to do what the FL were scared off.

At least we now have someone respectable in Coventry that Joy can listen to and approach. This is a good thing.

Thank you and god bless you John Witcombe .
