He also had unpleasant things to say about CCFC fans not wanting SISU to remain.

Not sure his views hold much water with many fans anymore.

Unfortunately though he will always be a legend for our FA Cup win he is another clueless one. As life president he seems to know very little about the club....clearly indicating the role is not in any executive capacity. has he any idea of where this club sits perilessly close to being extinguised? We can't have these 'trainee managers' at this juncture. The risk is suicide. We must get some experience and hopefully not one from a blast of the past in Blackwell or the likes. It must be someone current. Not many fit that bill on the list I've seen and even Curbishley has been out a while but still for me the most outstanding candidate with bags of experience at every level, quite a big name and well respected.
