Going to be a very important player for us. Once fit I really believe he has the potential to be one of the best players in this league.

Yeah, I think he's quality. I'm hoping his return to fitness will see McSheffrey dropped.

If his previous reputation is any indication, he should really be too good for this division. Hopefully dragging us up along with him.

Agree, my favourite of all our signings, think he could be a quality player for us

He really should be a class above this division with his pedigree. Bit worried by his hit-and-miss passing so far, I expected more quality. But he clearly has creativity and vision. Hopefully when he reaches maximum fitness he'll execute better.

He changed the game when he came on yesterday. McDonald was inches away from connecting with a few of his crosses. More game time and I think these two will become key players for us

Totally agree. He caused all sorts of problems down the left when he came on yesterday

Clearly there must be 2 flecks in the cov squad, as the 1 I saw is useless

Except providing the wicked cross that lead to Cody's goal against Yeovil and then went off and the game changed for the worse...

He hasn't been useless, but he's not been quite as good as people are making out.

He's a very good player. I think players like him have to get used to the style of football in this league.

He's good on Fifa13 Just sold him to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window for 4.7million. In all seriousness though he and Cody need to start on Tuesday.

Some of you may remember what my lad said about Fleck. Good player but prone to disapearing in some games. Then can pop up with a bit of skill to set up a goal. Some are expecting too much from him, although he is young enough to improve.

Yea but he also said Jennings would be amazing

I said Jennings would be good as DM and win the bal then keep it simple passing to our own players. The type of play that goes unnoticed. Show me where I said amazing or similar. When fit he has done his job. I also said he would get better as the season progresses. Tell me what other fantasies you have seen me say.

I never accepted jennings as a good buy but got balled out for it I recall...
Still don't think much to him and doubt he will figure in the team very much as we strive to go forward and win games not sit back and defend.
As for Sheff? been in the side two in a row and improved us tbf. He may lack some pace but has that ability to change a game or get free kicks etc. Think he will improve enormously with each match.
Fleck has the ability of vision that makes all the difference. Cody and Goldie will get on those time and again.

Sorry was just winding you up, you took the bait

I think Jennings has done ok, not great. I don't see much difference in him an Deegan tbh apart from Deegan offers more of a goal threat. I get the feeling though Deegan wasn't liked much an may have been disruptive in the dressing room

Jennings isn't a goal threat, but his holding play, tackling and distribution is better.

So you are calling a player great based on ONE CROSS ???

Utterly laughable - talk about clutching at straws.

It is embarassing the praise this current crop is getting. But for a lucky goal right near the end of the game against a very poor Oldham side cov would have been bottom of league 1!

I wish people would stop giving praise which is simply not justified.

Before start of season - This squad will easily gain promotion straight away
couple of gains in - will be a consolidation season
now - we should avoid relegation!

I just cannot believe that people aren't furious about this! Why aren't people fuming at SISU for getting us in this mess?

I just cannot believe people can allow this to happen, and give up the fight ans STILL call themselves fans of the club!

What a disgrace - Where has the fighting spirit gone?

So-called fans are a joke. Not even prepared to fight for the club they claim to love.

pathetic - just plain pathetic.

What do you mean by 'give up the fight'

What's the fight? A SISU out flag? Boo a player? Moan on a forum? What?

Woh hold on there cowboy!
Those at the Emirates last Wednesday, all 10,000 of them nearly, are not a 'joke' myself included.
Those that traveled to Oldham deserve credit too and got their reward.

The malaise at this football club has been long and arduous one but any one with a modicum of intellegence can see that the new manager is making a difference to the good. The fans of this football club deserve a medal.
As for SISU and complaining? To what end? Would any new owner do anything different? The troubles lay in the past ownership. The current crop while not perfect are showing signs of getting this football club back on it's feet. We may noy like them but they are astute and hard noseed as you could wish for and I take that as a positive.

Games are won by scoring more than the opposition...we did that at Oldham. We will do it again all season long. You can see the elements coming together already and the new guy has been there a week or so ffs.

Where were you moaning when AT was taking us lower and lower? You're about a season too late....

There's positivity here right now, what are you doing trying to ruin it?

These owners are as responsible as ANY for the mess we are in with the exception of Richardson. Stop trying to re-write history: they are not nice chaps doing their best, they are utter SCUM!
