The impact these two had on the game was there to see! personally i think the changes should of been made on the 60 minute mark as we weren't looking direct or dangerous enough for a team 1-0 down.

Still cannot understand how Mcsheffery gets a starting place in this team? although i don't think Fleck's a left midfielder he's a much more gifted football than Gary.

Also, Callum Wilson - outstanding. Could be one for the future

Wilson looks the athletic figure that Ball isn't. Similar build but has pace.

If Clarke isn't fit for Saturday, we should start Wilson on his own, Cody was a joke, and there's no one else after that.

Dont think Cody had the greatest service... Although saying that his chance in the 1st half was a really bad miss he had that whole side of the goal to knock the ball into

Maybe you were a bit quick to dismiss Wilson after his first sub appearance?

I agree McDonald is awful, especially as a lone striker. He never wants the ball into feet which was a massive flaw in our play. We had no one to play into feet who could hold it up meaning we couldn't get our players further up the pitch into more dangerous positions

Maybe, but I'm not holding my breathe for him to do that again, I hope I'm wrong, because I like it when youth players make the first team, if I were a manager, I'd be big on youth development right from the bottom and would follow a youth policy.

McDonald got outshone by Wilson and he was ok 1st half, should've scored, but I don't think he's good enough to start, especially with Clarke. I hope Gillingham take him off our hands, hopefully for a fee, what a waste of 500k, probably why SISU didn't trust Thorn with a budget.

His movement was bad in the box, he was static, he didn't get lots of service, but when he did, he was inept, for example, that 1 v 1.

They just let him sign nine players instead and all but sign DMC then sack him after 270 minutes of football and one bad result.
Good thinking Batman.

If you are not going to trust someone with a transfer budget, you wouldn't on the other hand allow him to sign 9 players.

Sacking Thorn after 3 games saved the season.

They backed their manager, 'hand picked' (quote from Waggott) squad and he still failed. The first 2 draws weren't too bad, but it was the manner of the results - which you ignore - getting dominated for a half and more points dropped from winning positions, and more late goals conceded, avoidance of subs, which cost us the game, Robins put Thorn to shame.

As also mention, most of his 9 signings were shit anyway: Edj, Malaga, Kilbane, Ball, Elliott. He has bad history in the market.

Dong, or anyone for that matter, you can't defend Thorn, his position became untenable, deal with it.

I weren't expecting the old, fatiguing, closed Thorn debate again, was just stating what a waste of 500k McDonald is, certainly in Eastwood's league, what poor players.

Thorn was a bad manager. We just all have to accept that.

Wouldn't surprise me if he never gets a manager role again.

Thorne is not and never was a Manager, he is a scout. We should not blame Thorne for being put in as a Manager but the people who put him there on the cheap.

Also, Callum Wilson - outstanding. Could be one for the future .....................................................Of all the youngsters I've seen, this lad looks most capable of cementing a place. Play him up front with Clarke when fit and give him a go. I'd rather start Fleck now than Sheffers as well. McSheffrey will surely be gone in the summer anyway !!

Arguably ! the period under Shaw has cost us a play off place but then lets be honest we're not good enough to go up anyway at the moment!

So Thorn was not a legitimate contender for the job? Of course, the fans' wanted him.
