Headed this way ? Been Mark Robins's assistant at both his previous clubs older than MR (about 60) and is seen as a bit of a mentor to Robins. Be interesting in the light of the way things happened this week, no money, have to work with current staff according to Waggott then hey presto a first team coach turns up. My hunch is Robins will bring in his own people and Breckin will be one of them. Where that leaves Shaw and Carsley who knows, especially Shaw who came in as assistant manager. In pro-football managers appoint their own assistants.

Careless gone back to his previous job with the under 21's, a job where he got a lot of praise from Gregor Rioch. I believe he'll be kept in that role as should Rioch in his academy role. As for Shaw, I have a feeling he'll go, not sure when but at some point he'll go. I do hope oggy stays though.

Oggy needs to go. Only sentimentality keeping him here.

Shaw sat at the back of the stand behind Fisher the whole game yesterday taking notes. Now, if it was first half only then fair enough. But the whole game? He'll be gone. They'll sit Dulieu next to him next week to get the message across.

Wouldn't surprise me. If Shaw has kept the 'assistant manager' title then why was he sat in the stand? Very odd move.

As for Oggy being a good GK coach, I disagree. Some of the warm up routines are very simplistic yet we still manage to get simple things wrong. Maybe that's just Murphy though. Complete overhaul needed IMO, not that I'd want Shaw to go so soon

Coventry city must be the only club who are happy to have ex players as coaches even though we do shit , because they used to play for us.
Sad but very true..
You can't sack Shaw because he played so and so games.
You can't sack oggy because of 28 years of service.
You can't sack carsley because he lives in knowle.
Fresh starts call for new plans and visions.
I doubt robins has the same vision and plans as the under achievers strolling around ccfc
