Just read his autobiography and enjoyed it. Loves himself, but reckon he'd do a great job with us.

However we've got no chance of getting him. Simply couldn't afford him.

Yep he would and a team of Ched Evans, Joey Barton and Marlon King would have had us really challenging in this division.

No he's a massive bellend talks as much shite as Bellamy.

Plus his wages would be an issue anyway so he wouldn't drop into league one. Bottom end championship club if he's off anywhere

Available.
Anybody think he'd be worth pursuing?
Obviously carries baggage and would test the budget, but would be that nasty guy we're missing.

In a heartbeat, but he wont come here. Heard Sean Dyche on radio5 the other night saying that he was a huge part of them getting promoted, great to have in the changing room and didn't have any disciplinary issues, he just needs to be managed correctly like a lot of professional footballers these days, said he'd think about having him back at Burnley if things went tits up north of the border.

Will go to a Championship club, Preston, Blackburn somewhere like that.

That makes three decent midfielders up for grabs then Barton and apparently Frank Lampard and Stevie Gerrard have announced they are leaving their Yankee clubs but would they accept £2k a week ?

Lampard every day!
Nice bonus of Christine Bleakley swanning around the Place too.

I'm fully expecting Lampard to be announced as Southgate's assistant in a week or so's time.
Someone who is media capable needs to explain why the team conceded yet another equaliser in the 5th minute of injury time.

Gerrard and lampard will surely retire now? Doubt they would want to finish their careers in league one.

As good as Barton would be in this league, with such a young squad I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.
