Lati gets a rough ride. He's competent if unspectacular. That's what you expect from a squad player. Plus he's still young enough to improve. It's not practical to have ~25 top quality players in a Championship squad.

Wasn't there also talk that he was playing with an injury at the end of the season? I thought he started quite well and is better than many in here say. However, I wonder whether our change of formation suited him.His cause hasn't exactly been helped by being used in so many positions.
We are lucky to have a player who gives us so many options from the bench, and is professional enough to not spit his dummy out when he doesn't get a run in his favoured position.

For a good few seasons we’ve been crying out for a utility player who can fill in a couple of positions as cover, and as unspectacular as Lati is, he did that last season.
I genuinely think that some fans have blurred the line between the reality of football, and the expectation of a seamless simulation in Football Manager.

He's 27!!Not that I disagree with you, as I think it’s a bit steep for a CB coming towards the end of his career, but I think he’s probably better than the £4m we spent on Kitching and he does have all the qualities we need. I’m torn on this one atm.

Yeah Tom’s just corrected me on that, for some reason thought I he was 29. It’s weird that at 29 I think he’s too old but 27 is fineHe's 27
