Needs a special mention tonight. Won us the game with his pen save. Guy is passionate about Coventry and football fair play to him. Been in great form this season for us. Sure he made a mistake that cost him his clean sheet today but without him we could be on the end of a defeat right now.

Murphy's Penalty save was the turning point so I will forgive him his injury-time miss judgement PUSB

Well tbh any team would be lucky to have that quality of Chris Dunn in their team

Love Murphy but he definitely let himself down at the end. Nothing worse for a keeper to throw away their clean sheet like that. I'm sure he's kicking himself.

This is life of a keeper. Makes a great pen save and then massive cock up at the end. life of a keep ey.

He was distraught at the end. You could tell by his body language

On his day, Murphy is the BEST keeper in this league! Quality last night!

Felt sorry for him for the error at the end, He was so desperate to keep the clean sheet (maybe his gas bills due and needs a bonus??) but once he had committed himself to coming for the ball he had no chance. Think on a dry day he would have made a decent connection on the ball and it would have been away.

Jordan Clarke was in a different class though, he seems to read the game so well from that position and manages to get in front of the attacker and cut off the ball 9/10 times and has a neck like a giraffe the way he gets up in the air!

Well done to Pressley for seeing he made a mistake and having the balls to admit it!

Yeah he screamed at the Lino on the way in for half time and then screamed at him for giving the pen.

But then NM 'asked' how the fuck it was a penalty so it everyone was a bit pissed then.

Murphy also told the whole team to get a 'fucking tackle in'.

But anyone in particular no not really.

In another accent it'd sound intimidating and abusive but in Murphy's voice it's firey and charming. What a man.

I wonder how his penalty record compares to Westwood.

The worst part of listening to the games is that until the commentators confirm what's happened you have no idea, as you can barely differentiate between home and away fans by noise level.

I did last night, and it was questioned so I thought it was just me (I've done it before too, not just last night)

I don't quite remember it like that. Pressley saw a kid full of ego and little work ethic and told him that was why he wasn't going to feature in the clubs future. Jordan responded to that in a positive way and addressed his ego and work ethic and demanded his place back. Fair play to Pressley for recognising the positive response and fair play to Clarke for sorting himself out.

At previous player events, he didn't want to know. He was dismissive of the young fans wanting his signature and wanting to talk to him. When my daughter was mascot last week, not only did he spend time talking to her, he asked if there was anyone else she'd like to meet and made sure they came and spoke to her. Fair play to him.

I see Dunn is now in the Championship at Yeovil but yet to make a first team start.
Strange decision that he's not their number one!

They must be saving him until after the January window so they don't sell him to Real Madrid. Then after the window they will use him keep clean sheets until the end of the season and then will get into the play offs. And then into the prem. True story

Cracking save.

Fact most people don't know, Joe Murphy is a very keen gardener and has even developed his own brand of weed killer, quite commonly on sale in Ireland.
