It is on the BBC here

Points to note.

  • Hoffman doesn't want to run the club
  • Hoffman HAS spoken to the chairman
  • Hoffman HAS put something in writing to the chairman
Well well, the club are lying again! Why do these people insist on misinforming people time and time again?

Is it time for a joke about a "verbal" agreement ?

I trust what Mr Elliott says, so if he says he has made an approach and that they are in conversation, then I believe him.

The letter was left on the seat of the car bringing Dulieu and Clarke back from their mythical meeting with the council - not lying just mis-communicating and misinterpretation of the facts.

We're always quick to slate people on here but I think we all need to take a moment to comprehend how much worse it would be if we didn't have a thoroughbred coventrian like Joe Elliot so committed to the cause. Well done that man

He's been great all the way trough, I remember when he was telling us how badly the run the club was during the Robinson, Richardson, McGinnity era's, and how they were totally messing it up, and he never shied from telling us the facts about how it was being run by Ranson and Sisu too.

Well done that man.

Frightening to think where this club is headed without Hoffman and Elliott. SISU can't be trusted, "any more".

The assumption that a fan of the club is better served to have a say in the running of it is a strange one, along the lines of 'passion' being some kind of substitute for intelligence in a player.

Well I think it is the fact that he genuinely wants to do what is best for the club in the short and long term.

The same could be said for everybody running every club, unless there are some saboteurs running amok. Having a 'Coventry kid' could and should be great, but emotion can cloud judgement too.

If it was up to me Marcus Hall would be chairman, and his first act would be to give himself the number three shirt. Livin' the dream!

Ajsccfc makes a valid point, it's nice having a guy who has the club's best interests at heart, but he's got to be the right guy for the club.
