Well he had played about 5 just over half games probably no where near fully fit scored a goal made a couple and improving every game, put it this way would you rather him here or Walsall, Burton or Wigan?

Good move. Brings so much experience to the training ground as well as on the pitch and that can only help Maddison. Like others have said getting better every game and like Rupert said better he's here than the competition. If he can stay fit and keep improving like he is I wouldn't be surprised if he end's up being the signing of the season.

Very happy to have Cole on board.

Still want another striker for the final run in.

Does that mean we have space for loads of loans now Kent has gone and Cole isn't a loan?

Great to see Cole has signed!

If we get Armstrong for the rest of the season and another striker similar then I really do think we will be pushing for automatic promotion.

Exciting times between now and May!

Think his impact in the dressing room is massive as well important not to forget that.

Some squad we are building for the promotion run in!

Bigi is supposed to be signing permanently so it will be just Arma and Murphy on loan unless we get some more in. When can you take loans up until? Might keep 1 or 2 spots open in case we need to cover injuries later in the season.

Yup, another defender in and possibly a striker making 3/4 on loan. Still leaves room for emergency loans later if required.

In theory yes. But will depend, on the loan terms and how the budget is holding up.

The availability of loans gives us cover for injuries if we continue the promotion push and the attendances keep growing.

So reading the CT article, if Mowbray gets what he wants, our squad for the run in will be something like:

RCC/Burge
Lorentzson/Willis/Phillips
New CB*/Martin
Ricketts/Ramage
Stokes/Haynes
Fleck/Bigi
Vincelot/Rose
Murphy*/New LW*/Lamerias
Maddison/Cole
JOB/New RW(Hooi?)*
Arma*/New ST*/Tudgay/Fortune

*'s are loans, though I imagine well sign at least one of those positions permanently, probably Hooi.

Thats some squad.

It's a squad with one eye on a higher division.

Getting more and more confused with the Lorentzson signing, will he play at all even when fit? TM seems to see Ricketts as a RB, meaning 4 players competing for one position. Yes Ricketts has been playing CB, but with Ramage in and Martin back would imagine those 2 starting from now on at least till another more physical CB comes in? Willis is back in Feb so possible that even with injuries to CB's and rickets moving inside, will still have Willis ahead of him?
I would argue, TM does pick and chose games for certain players, but if Lorentzson is a ball playing RB, surely he is suited to better pitches? Which there will be a lack off as the season goes on?

I get the idea that Ricketts is ahead of Martin in the CB pecking order.

I seriously doubt Ramage and Ricketts would play as a CB pairing? Plus going by TM's interviews, he keeps repeating the fact that we have two fullbacks at CB, so to me suggests he sees him as RB?

How could i forget that 1! I think with the unfortunate injuries we have had this year TM is getting it spot on by getting good cover in all positions for the next 5months. Hopefully all will stay happy and do their jobs when required.

TM did say when he signed Lorentzsen he is a different type of full back to Rickets and Phillips, if he is an overlapping flyer that might dictate the type of striker he goes for an opposite to Armstrong
