If not injured, would he have had a huge impact on this team or played a role akin to Shipley / Westbrooke ?

I actually think we’ve been better without him, maybe a hit harsh because he got injured so early on. I think we would’ve been reliant on a lot more wing play with him where as the last few games, playing through the middle has won us the games

Changed the formation so potentially we've benefitted overall from his misfortune

Would we have ever used the box formstion had he stayed fit?

We were winning in old 451 but thw dwfensive side of 3421 is reason we may win league imo

Jobello looked alright tho. But as a winger notnsure he could do amc role. I have similar doubts about jones

I liked him but I don't think we'd be in the position we are now had he not gotten injured. Switching to 5 at the back has completely transformed our season.

Jones has been playing in the box in the U23s and thinks he's doing OK.
Like you I'm a bit sceptical.

Reminds me of when Jodi got crocked in league 2 as in forced a change in formation which proved fuckin vital. This new formation is the bollocks

I don't watch their games, was going on comments Jodi himself made on social media. Have watched some highlights but highlights of an u23s game isn't going to tell you much.

No doubt his injury made us change the system & we put the formula together although I would like to see jobello play that advanced midfield role just the defensive side of his game would worry me also positional awareness he loves to hug the touch line.

Seems like a lifetime ago he was in he team. Jobello and Kastaneer on either wing whacking crosses into nobody in the box was how I thought this season would go and instead we had Walsh and O’Hare playing tika taka on the deck. What a season.

He was just finding form, but I think collectively we’ve looked more dangerous since his absence.

He would have definitely added something. I actually think we looked more dangerous in the final third with Jobello in the team than we do now, but we are far more defensively sound with the 3 at the back and the box formation

Flog the kids bikes on Gumtree, use the cash to buy a couple of Ferraris.
