No you just hadn't got a clue what it meant or where the saying came from.

The funny thing is you admit that the terms of sale for the arena had to be compromised and radically changed.

Seems it's maintenance for acl really was being outstripped by cost. Still you and Tony can keep digging if you wish.

Don't ever accuse me of being as clueless as yourself.

You are the master of the contradiction and panicked deflection.

You have on numerous posts cited that wasps will in fact fail. The reason you effectively say is the cost of financing the bond. The cost of financing the bond is tied into the need to finance the stadium.

To term white elephant - which you clearly have no clue as to its origin - refers to gifts bestowed in ancient Thailand. The white elephant was a wonderful creature seen as a valuable gift. In truth it was expensive and devoured everything and left its owner impoverished.

So absurdly your whole philosophy regarding wasps and their ultimate failure supports the notion that acl (or more pertinately I suppose the associated debt) is indeed a white elephant.

The renegotiation shows this to be true. The white elephant having devoured the income of the receipiant had to be given away to prevent complete ruin.

As I have said once today already the subtle nuances of this debate is well over both you and your hapless sidekicks head.

I never knew that the Ricoh was built by the ancient Thais. You learn something new everyday. Either that or someone thinks origin and definition are the same thing. Either that or they're just using a story, that word again, story as a contradiction and panicked deflection. By the way, they don't even have the story right.

I was going to say that you are full of shit. But everyone already knows that.

So where did I say that Wasps WILL fail? I have said several times that it is a lot of money that they have to find. I have said several times that it is our best chance of getting our own stadium. And what has it got to do with this thread?

We have had your stupid white elephant debate many times. I said you was wrong when you first said it. Sadly I was right. Now you say that I don't know the meaning of it....

Just a little side note. I am not as thick as you would like or that you act.
