The best thing I ever saw him do for us was one of those Peterborough games from the two in a row where we turned 0-2 HT into 3-2 FT, he came on and almost immediately gave us the sense of urgency that was missing.

Doyle doesn't bollock younger players due to his own shortcomings as JoB did and has gained respect through his professionalism, leadership and drive unlike JoB, he made players lose confidence not gain it by his ranting and shouting, there's a big difference.

Family reasons were that if he wasn't getting game time which TM said he was demanding! (Delusional, as he left others in the shit with his headless positional sense and wasn't even that good), being away from family (understand this) in Yorkshire, so TM agreed to a loan move to Scunny. He then moved to Shrewsbury on 2 year deal....that well known town up north.

Nor did JoB, that's just something you are seeing. He bollocked players when people made mistakes. I'm not saying JoB is better the Doyle, I think Doyle is vital to this team and the worst mistake we made was letting him go all those years ago. But to say he is a bully is just a load of unsubstantiated bullshit.

It's really not hard to understand is it. He said when he was playing it was ok because he was on the pitch and distracted, however if he wasn't playing he was stuck in the hotel, for 2 nights with no family. really not hard to understand. So moving the Scunny made sense as even if he didn't play he at least had his family.

No to J'OB. Even in his 'peak'.

Fleck, yes, in a hearbeat.

TM mentioned that JoB was a disruptive influence in the dressing room to an open SBTrust forum at The Squirrel pub, while JoB was still on the books. Well rid, it's not really hard to understand....

No chance, we have young upcoming players now who play as a team, mostly, JOB all he did was moan like fuck at the others players including the young ones.
On another note does Fleck still get into Sheff Utds team regularly, and plaese dont tell me to google it as I cant be arsed

It looked like he was eating exclusively deep fried pies when he was here.

JOB was overrated by many just because he ran around a lot - that doesn't necessarily make you a good player. It was a good decision to ship him out and he should stay out.

TM also said that and more, in no uncertain terms, at a sponsors visit to Ryton.

Blamed everyone one except himself.

A lot of bluster and running around, but not a very talented player, and very poor discipline regarding positioning.

A bit bigheaded of Mowbray that isn't it?

Or did you mean he was talking about O'Brien?

As Prince Charles will tell you, it's much better to talk to them nicely.
