I enjoyed listening to this one with Jim Brown. Lots of memories which older fans can relate too. Good to hear his views on managers and on Mark Robins in particular. He feels that Robins is one of our best ever managers, with stats to back that up. Last season we were on course to have our most successful season ever in terms of points per games. Robins is second, only just behind Harry Storer, in the win percentage stakes. He makes the point that like JH when the club first entered the First Division, Robins win percentage has taken a hit through playing in a higher league. Jim makes the point that Robins deserves to be given time (daft that you even have to make that statement) considering what he has achieved so far. He says that he would want Robin's to remain in charge even if we were relegated.(I agree) He thinks that with Robin's and the plan we are following, the PL might just be achievable.
The one thing I would disagree with him on was his statement saying our owners were good owners.
