Fuck him off.

Fuck anyone that hasn't shown some level of talent off. Players, coaches, the gateman, anyone. Need to get rid of the stench of failure from the club.

The only ones outside Robins that have shown themselves worthy of keeping are the U18 coaches.

Get an entirely new first team group in, new marketing team, new people in the ticket office, whole new squad. All of them.

Oggy should go. NOW! His job is to coach the keepers. Why are they not performing? Get someone else in FFS!!!

Great game, but nothing will come near beating Wolves 3-1 in front of the biggest crowd ever at HR

Yes. I've a picture on my wall of kids running on the pitch at the end of that historic game. And I'm one of those kids ! My son laughs when he comes round and looks at the picture,he can't imagine that I was ever young !

Along with the Cup Final this game will live on long in my memory. I was13.
54,000 with many seated around the touchline among the blue disability cars!
We went on to have 34 years in the top flight beore our current nightmare began.
In all that time the likes of Man.Utd went down and back up again and many more teams.
It just emphasises our tremendous fall from grace and the younger fans can't appreciate.

I was 12 then so could have been sat around the touchline by you.The attendance was set at 51,000 a record that'll never be beat.It was said there were 20,000 outside that day such was the excitement etc at the size of the game.A kid by me came back crying as Dougan kicked him on the shin drawing blood, could have been an accident ? Who knows but what a day !

Are you lot for real or is this thread a wind up?
So we are being religated and you want to spend any little money we have on a goalkeeping coach.
Just bring in a better keeper we all knew these 2 were shit, get a half decent striker (that will make him twice as good as we have now)
Shore up the defence and midfield with a few bruisers.
And bang let's kick ass.

The club needs more than a lick of paint, the culture is toxic and we need a clear out. Otherwise you're just sticking plasters on gaping wounds.

You don't end up with a squad of shit by mistake or chance. You end up with it because the club can't attract talent, can't build talent, and has a mentality that destroys any talent it chances upon.

He said that Burge's positional sense was poor, and that he was to blame for the last 3 goals. More importantly we haven't had a decent keeper for over 15 years now and that the common denominator , despite all the different managers, was Oggy. He basically blames Oggy for the poor state of our keepers over a significant period .
I was surprised that a fellow professional goalkeeper was so public in his criticism of one of his own, which is why I wasn't sure whether it was really Blyth (it was)

Got to disagree that we haven't had a decent goalkeeper for 15 years - Kieran Westwood was fantastic for us and arguably our best goalkeeper of the modern era - he is often now quoted as the best goalkeeper outside the premiership - joe murphy was the last decent keeper we had

Good idea! Let's bring in a better keeper AND get rid of Oggy! I like it!

I agree, it's just not going to happen, though.

Our goalies were always well-coached when Blyth was in charge of them, plus didn't he mentor Kirkland?

Oggy seems to have far too much influence to be honest, and he's just crap as a coach.

Why would this be a wind up?. I haven't said anything about getting rid of Oggy. I was talking about Jim Blyth's comments.

Yep, Kirkland, Westwood, Murphy all crap and didn't improve a bit whilst at the club.

Blyth really didn't rate Murphy in the slightest. Whenever he was summariser on CWR he'd point out in no uncertain terms he thought he was a bit shite, and couldn't understand where the praise came from.

If Jim Blyth is that good a goalkeeper coach how come he's not in a job now. Sounds a bit bitter to me.

Without confusing the issue, isn't Jim Blyth of GMK fame, Bob Latchford on here?
