You do realise that even with out fantastic form we have only closed the gap by 1 point on the top six over the 11 games? You say only wolves and Peterborough will last the distance, I remember plenty saying the same about most of the top 6 last season. And with our threadbare squad a couple of injuries to key players I.e either of the front pair, fleck or Webster and we will struggle.

The truth is this year we haven't played form teams yet. The next three games will give us a clearer measure of any progress made. Strength and depth still remains a worry.
We are still making up ground at the moment.

There is some argument that the points deduction cost more than 10 points as a demotivating factor. I don't necessarily agree but I don't think we'd have made the play offs either way once Clarke was injured.

im not saying we will do it this year,but the guy is right,we have a chance.

True, just think throwing us in to the mix puts unnecessary pressure on a young squad, and starts to raise expectations. Even Pressley has said the priority is avoiding relegation and he expects our young squad to have a dip in form.

Nah, a dip in form is a 5-6 game run rather than back to back losses. I'd say 20 points from 11 games is a decent run. I'm not being negative just think we shouldn't be building expectations up, in 11 games we've pegged back 1 point.

I agree you have to allow for the loss of points demotivating people. But even before that we really struggled with teams above us we really needed to beat to reel them in. It's one of those we will never know the answer to, but I honestly don't think we were really good enough. But even to have just been in the running to the end would have been good.
We would be sat in the play-offs if it weren't for the ten point penalty there are definately reasons to be optimistic, the next five games will determine where we are and if play-off's are realistic, in my opinion I believe they are.

Agree. Robins' success was overstated but the damage to the season was done in the disastrous August and September.
