What did he do I thought he stomped off and sat down on the bench in a stroppy teenager kind of way & started taking his boots off or shin pads?

Basically that, just not happy at all.

For a big unit, he isn't half a pussy on the football pitch.

I think it was the wrong sub to make and he should have stayed on the field. Him and Doyle were the only ones giving us any kind of physicality.

I'd have taken Bayliss off to be honest for a striker.

Haynes off for Reid and push Shipley back.

Thing is with Robins, his subs have to be like for like. Not so much players, but positionally.

he was right to, McNulty being kept on ahead of him was a joke. Yes McNulty is our top scorer but that should not give him the divine right to stay on the pitch especially when he's playing shit like tonight. Poor tactical decision making from Robins all night

So he didn't go Apeshit... He was disappointed at being taken off, he still shook hands as he came off.

Tbf if I was brought off for Biamou I'd be kicking off too.

Good assist, but another game where he looked less of a goal threat than Biamou. Ignoring the pen as he only took it as McNulty was off the pitch, he's scored just 2 goals in 15 games from open play. So hardly prolific, Biamou has scored 4 from open play in his last 15 league games, not great by any means but twice as many as JCH.

I should think he was pissed off because there was plenty in front of him to be taken off tonight, only him and Doyle came out of it with any credit tonight

Still dont think we play to his strengths.

He needs it in the channels, not onto or over his head.

So we have to ignore the other 22 games where Biamou didn’t score?

Yes, sometimes you do. Sometimes you have to accept its taken time for a player to adapt and get going. If we get promoted neither are good enough for league one.

- Taking Haynes off for Reid would be dumb. Shipley is not cut out to play the full back role Haynes plays, Reid at LB, I refer to Yeovil game.
- I think Reid probably should’ve been brought on, but either a CM gets taken off or McNulty - leaving us with 2 against 3 and exacerbating the exposure on our full backs.
- same applies to your thinking about taking Bayliss for Biamou
- It was worth bringing JP on, because he gets in goal scoring positions, he did and he missed a sitter. And their GK pulled a very good save from Biamou.

Our problem was our defending in central areas, it was horrible. I thought we edge the 1st half and in the second half we were chasing the game against a v good Lincoln.
