Very true. Sometimes our transfer negotiations appear to be very protracted . Guess we will never know whether that's the case or notI kind of get the sentiment though.

It gives FL the chance to get 1/2 in now and know what he’s working (squad and money wise) with in the summer. Also means players who are going to be here next season get definite game time and become more used to FL and the way he wants to play.

Biggest summer balls up was signing BTA instead of a CM . The urgency of the CM issue was obvious to virtually everyone with the exception of those responsible for recruitment and final purchase decisions.
