I wonder what the fee for Kitching would be. A loan would be pointless

So hypothetically if we are looking for a right wing player, didn’t we look at Dolan from Blackburn?

Out of contract this year so wonder if we could use Kitching to tempt him (might explain Thomas not coming (obviously a much simpler reason is more believable).

Funny how the teams linked with our defenders are top 6 teams...

Would be great business to shift Lati and Kitching on for decent fees this window, if we are able to get suitable replacements in.

He’s awful, they signed Gibson to get rid of him

Yes so IF they both went, we would sign two more...

Agree, i'd only sell for a decent fee. Maybe Fadz is the one pushing for this.

Looking at there last game he played central in a back three. Are we sure Gibson won’t play alongside him?

You look to atleast try and recoup what we paid for both Binks and Kitching.

maybe the melodrama about us wasting £45m will stop if that happens

That midfield is about as physically weak as you can get. It would get bullied every single week

Completely agree- which is why a Lewis O'brien/Hayden would offer that bit of aggression in there. Tired of us being timid in there, could see with Allen at least he got about the pitch and pressed with some aggression.

Nobody. Doubt we’re paying him half of that.

He gets minutes. If he plays well you can recoup your fee in the summer.

And it gets his wages off the bill for 6 months

Tbh i've got no problem recycling a lot of our players and having another go but this all seems very far fetched for January. It's a slightly dangerous game the turnover that is being rumoured at this point of a season.

You genuinely think that DK and MR have sat there and thought, I know what, let’s sign a player who was a bit part last season and make him our top earner?

Kitching would be a loan, says in the article.

Seems a waste of time loaning him out imo

Would be farcical to loan a player out, a half decent one, to a team that is above us in the table.

This has got to be some sort of record for number of our players liked with exits in a transfer window, especially when you consider it’s only the 09th

Being pedantic, article is only saying they think a loan would be likely due to a high transfer fee. Not that a loan is what they want per say

I've just been reading how Sheffield United are in for the possibility of getting Luke Woolfenden on loan from Ipswich. Aged 26 and market value £2m. Sounds like he would do for us. Wages cant be massive
If you are Woolfenden and your choice was a team 3rd in the league or a team 16th in the same league which would you chose .Players are always out to play at he highest level possible.Sure Ipswich would much rather have him playing there too.

we should be all over pushing a Dolan/kitching swap.

Dolan out of contract in summer, balanced out his value v kitching.

rather move kitching than binks. Like thomas, think binks be better with experience alongside.

That's because as I stated the other day, loads of them want out and are getting their agents working overtime

We have a bunch of pricks as a squad at the moment but to say that means you're a shit fan on here

if we rebuilt the defence in to a more solid unit and added to the midfield that would be a good window

I’ve shared with you in the past but heard similar regarding a few of the players.

Will say this is a great opportunity to throw a couple of them out and start a proper squad build. Although knowing our luck, the new lot would be just as annoying too
