I think he's got loads of potential. Don't want him to leave.

Based on what ?

Robins, Carr and Lampard all didn’t think so.

Just have always liked the look of him. Aggressive, direct with the ball, wants to attack and press.

I'm obviously no expert! But I think it would be a mistake if we let him leave.

I honestly think we say come back and tear it up Haji and you can leave in the summer for the right price. His value won't be higher and I'm sure he realises he has limited time for a another step up the ladder. Id rather not see him resent not getting a move.

Has to be a huge bid for this - surely . He's our best player and it would be gutting to see him at the foxes

What are you basing the idea he would be a good captain on? He's a guy that's barely played and doesn't even train with the first team because their manger perceives him to have such a bad attitude.

If we do end up selling wright this window we need to seriously question blings running of our club, no way should we be entertaining any bids for him in jan

Seen Brandon Williams name banded about on X. Didn't realise he's a free agent, wouldn't be a bad option on a free, always thought he was bit of a bellend though.

He’s got history for sure but isn’t a bad player.

6 month deal with an extra year in the clubs favour if it works out could get him back into football and get us a player that would normally be out of our realms.

If you remember Andy Carroll got 6 months at Reading and then did really well and then left after 6 months for WBA but then eventually ended back up at Reading.

If we had that year in our favour if he turns out to be good we could just take the extension and sell him, sorta puts him in the shop window and solves our LB issue, whether he’s fit or not and how long he’d take to get match fit is a different question

Wright to the Premiership with 2.5 years left on his contract will cost big big money.

If Vik went to the Prem we would have got more money than him going to Sporting.

In Jan you have to pay over the odds. £20m+ or piss off.

It’s inevitable he will be gone by summer anyway.

Josh Windass btw, who we all laughed at in the summer, 10 goals and 2 assists. On fire atm. Wouldn’t mind him now.

If we manage to bring in 40 million for Wright, Sheaf and MVE then we're exactly where we were a year and a half ago and we have another golden opportunity to make a decent go of promotion.

Wright only needs replacing with a decent prospect as EMC is starting to look the business and we can take our time with that.

Obviously Sheaf and MVE need replacing immediately.

Intriguing stuff, we have been waiting for FL to get a chance to add to the squad in January.

But as he tries to bring in a couple of loans, he also has to face the risk of losing MVE, Wright and Sheaf.

He’s due in court on the 17th of March for the start of his trial. It’s not history yet it’s current, very talented with potential but sadly bad attitude. No one is going to touch him till the outcome of his trial

Not heard his name mentioned (or any wingers for that matter). I saw an article earlier where Lampard mentioned wingers specifically, so maybe there is something in it.

Woolfenden was mentioned on here, good player plus Ipswich has just agreed a deal for Godfrey so could be something in it?.

Holding would be a cracking signing and so would Sorba, Choudhury as a DM on loan could be a good shout with experience in this league.
