Just reading a couple of Barnsley threads on him and the consensus seems to be he’s not great at defending but is a good “attacking CB” (whatever that is).
On paper he's the one CB that would best fit Lampard's style of play. He is decent carrying the ball & can punch it through the lines to the centre forward rather than relying on the CMs to come deep & collect it.I think Lampard will play Kitching against Sheffield Wednesday in the cup, last chance saloon, maybe.
Plus he has a point to prove about the last time he played against Sheffield Wednesday at the CBS.
