If it doesn’t happen then apologies but I’m very confident with what I’ve been told

Could play Ben Sheaf as a CB. Did well there in the past and has the right mentality and ability for a CB imo but think it’s harsh to take any one of the defence out atm.Ben?

I did say the other day to expect a bid for Eccles to come in the summer. There are whispers. I wouldn't have expected it this window though. I agree with what you said though about it being strange as he did turn us down after fee was agreed. It is strange, the only viable reason surely would be Eccles going out. The Ajax guy is a defensive midfielderTBF we had no one to come on for Torp or Rudoni really today. Grimes Sheaf Allen and Eccles all play a more defensive role. There’s definitely room for a more attacking CM IMO.

I'd heard that at the start of the window he would be open to a move as he wanted more minutes. I think it's probably fair to say that question is dead in the water now. Lampard has given him a chance and he's obviously firmly in his thoughts to keep.
