This is interesting compared to info on here

The 24-year-old has been an ever-present in all competitions for Coventry this season and is understood to be keen to finish the season with them.

he knows he can get a move in the summer and fancies his chances of it being better than Fulham

They were keen on Emerson Royal at AC Milan, who is now injured.

We needed additions when everyone is fit, and now we've had some injuries to key players we need them even more now

I'm not being funny but what the fuck have the recruitment team been doing in the past four weeks?

10 days left still and January is a notoriously difficult window to operate in. We're not in a position to pay above the odds or offer significant transfer fees / wages so it is what it is.

Easy for fans to criticise when they're not at the coalface of it.

Unless a signing is the nailed on right one for us I'd rather we don't make any permanent signings in this window, as I think there will be many more options of players to buy in the Summer. Loans are a different matter, but presuming we don't lose any of our better players I still wouldn't be too unhappy to go with what we have for the rest of the season.

Club appears to be trying but can’t help it if some players don’t want to come like Holding or clubs decide to play silly buggers like Rangers.

Hopefully get the experienced CM in and maybe a RB if possible and then call it

I'm sure there will be loads of posturing until the last few days anyway, people thinking they can get better. Multiple plans, things falling through.

We are already seeing some benefit of the larger squad as the season takes its toll on some of our recent opposition. Extra depth in central midfield and on the right would be welcome though.

Wonder if we could go back in for the rangers lad if they don’t get the offer they’d like. They seem pretty desperate to move him on

If they are desperate for him they will have to over pay in Jan window.

I suspect Milan wants to consider more options for the summer and take his time.

Unfortunately, I think he would absolutely jump at the chance of joining Fulham.

I mean it wouldn’t be a bad move for him. Nice mid table Prem team. But I suspect he wants to move to a club playing European competition at least.

That's a bit of a warning sign in itself! My gut feeling on the vibes around this guy is that we should stay well clear of signing him.

Why do you suspect that ? The Premier league is the most watched league in the world and players from other countries fall over themselves to join it. It’s also the highest paying league in the world.

He's not that good. If we had some competition for his place, it's doubtful he would even be starting for us at the moment, never mind premier league and European football, such is his current form.

Tbf they are desperate to move a few on as they are skint. A few of their squad players would be useful in our squad too, problem is they are overpaying most of them.

To be fair, we’re still in the Anglo Scottish cup. Can imagine him and Wright will leave if we fail to qualify this year.

"He's not that good ". What have you been smoking ? Yes he's not been in great form this season but they've collectively under performed and he's had no rest whatsoever for months on end . He would always be first choice starter for us .

Not good enough for European football is what I meant. He might scrape into a lower tier Premier league team but not one competing in Europe.

MR had 2 wins before getting sacked for losing the next.

Based on that, FL is nailed on to get sacked if we lose to Watford.

If he doesn't then MR has a cast iron case for discrimination

Yeah but the difference is you can see the signs of a corner being turned under Lampard - you couldn't with Robins,he looked clueless towards the end

Most fans are clueless around what it takes to get a transfer home. For me it is about getting the right person in at the right price. This window if we get no one in, yes it will be disappointing, but not a disaster. I never expected more than a signing or perhaps plus one loan. But neither are really essential.

Was thinking about something. Had someone in here mention interest in JDS.

Wonder if we could say Jay go and Harvey Vale come in. Someone just spotted he’s not playing for the U21s today. Considering he could fill in as a winger and CAM for now and then move into LB.

Chelsea apparently willing to let him go on a free so could be a clever way to make money and get a young prospect. All would depend on Jay leaving mind

Why not? Seems a mixed bag of championship teams interested including Oxford who I’d like to think we could offer more in regard to wages than them and QPR.

I guess but maybe we could offer more guarantees than some of them. Hard when your trying to build a top six deck as your competing with at least 12 other teams

Shouldn't be entertaining offers for MVE from any clubs outside of the Premier League unless it's substantially higher than €14 million euros.

As for clubs in Premier League, Fulham are more than welcome to MVE, offers to begin at £14 million pounds plus £2 million pound once MVE reaches 100 club appearances and a 10%sell on fee.

This should be where we are at, whether we have someone lined up or not. Bringing the 2 lads back from loan has is irrelevant, we can always play Eccles, Lat, Sakamoto, Burroughs, Dasilva.

We should drag the sale right to the last minute of the window and earn as much money as possible. I couldn't care less if we end up without cover. We aren't going up and we aren't going down, we must earn a minimum of 15 million sterling with add ons.

Does anyone know how much Thomas-Asante actually cost? When iFollow was stuck on Blackburn commentators on Saturday, one of them said that he cost us in excess of £4m +add-ons. I thought the general feelingwas that is was £2.

By the way, their commentary was awful. So much worse than what we get. Really dull and seemingly uninterested, similar vibes to their fans from what I could hear. So glad that isn't my club.

Apparently Hull agreed a fee of £1.2m. If Doug paid £4m he is an idiot - if he got him for £2 he is a genius!!!
