I am fully at the point where i've accepted money in football is literally everything and i have no standards for the owner other than to be totally loaded and want to pump it into the club. I used to have standards, but the horse has long since bolted when it comes to English football.

No really when you consider we were the first club to almost do this becoming Coventry Talbot and the fact our colours were once white and blue

Not that they could do it with the laws how they are around badges and the like now.

For clarity I would say no but that’s because I’m a traditionalist.

Just to clarify the god awful Patrick Bamford loan rumour (and Blackburn aswell apparently) he’s currently out with a hamstring injury and is on forty k a week.

Those two facts alone rules him out -plus the fact his name is Patrick Bamford and he’s top of the ‘most chances missed in the last five years playing in a football team’.

Lets take the Red Bull example for arguments sake, there would need to be consultation between the ownership group or individual and the supporters of the club.

In 2022 the FA changed the rules after the Club Heritage review so that things like main colour of kits, badges and club names cannot be done without proper consultation.

In theory it probably could be done, but any group or individual would need to satisfy the FA that those consultations took place.

Football is more than winning trophies. I'd rather us have a proper identity.

Give it a few years and Birmingham and Wrexham fans will be desperate to return to their old, proper club. You already see fans of both clubs getting twitchy about things.

The problem isn’t his wealth it’s the obvious issue with his ego. He appears to be a very tetchy individual that doesn’t take kindly to criticism or things not going his way.

given the volatility of our fanbase and football in general - anytime something goes wrong, we’d be the fanbase to tip him over the edge. There are many ways he can fuck us over

I'm not agaisnt rich individuals with sketchy past taking us over. I’m concerned whether the person can be trusted…. They guy would be a high profile version of the guy who owns Sheff Wed
