Would have preferred Kone but DK has probably heard of Vardy which is why he wants to sign him

Doubt it, its tonight. He would have to have been signed and registered yesterday.

Yeah let's sign a 38 year old striker who likes to be played in behind that will solve all our problems

There are just too many reasons for this to be absolute bullshit.

Signing leicesters greatest ever player would certainly be a turn up for the books

Even at 38 he'd be a great signing in this division. Can't see it though.

He will be on what £20k p/w plus.

It's ok if we can offset Bassette wages on loan for a year. Makes sense.

Still alot of money...

We wouldnt need his pace. His movement in and around the box to get on the end of crosses would be more than enough.

I don’t think they’d care, he’s their best ever player he could probably shit on a Leicester fans front doorstep and they’d be fine with it

I really hope this comes true.

Also because all the DK haters that were convinced he vetoed us signing Matty James last year because of his age

It's not true, for a number of reasons. But let's say hypothetically it was, I genuinely wouldn't want him.

Problem is injuries. It's a pay as you play deal id favor. With huge goal bonus. Rather than a 1 year contract. All very hypothetical.

More so than Simms or BTA. He's not known for shying away from being aggresive.

This is surely not true, is it??

I mean, if it is, it's a statement signing.

I'm just not sure what that statement is!

Even if he only plays half the games, he might give a kick up the arse to our current strikers. They’re all passive and weak minded, he is nothing but the opposite.
