unless he is gonna start ahead of jennings or bailey, it does seem a strange one,

Surely better to develop Thomas, who played more games last seaosn in a higher league than he will this season.

Gotta say, its remarkable how few injuries we have had under Robins...

I doubt it, it isn't a position we really need.

If a player is better than we already have we should bring him in.

We are not desperate for another striker. We have two that can score goals and mainly play with just one of them.

would be really dissappointed if this come about. Every bit as good as Lallana at his age.
He is on the verge of making a return to the stating XI, so with all due respect he is better served to be here at Southampton.

I don't believe this to be true Robbins only brings in loanees he can permanently sign, why invest time and money into a player that then won't benefit us in the long run!

I agree with you.

However if the bloke got us promoted then went.
Would MR consider it.?

He would have had DMC on loan to the end of the season, even if DMC then said I will sign for someone else

Can't see you being able to buy him at any stage in the next two years or so..within 18 months you are looking at another Oxlaide-Chamberlain fee... another one in our sausage machine!!!
Would command a fee nearly eqivalent to young Luke Shaw's valuation now.. but if you offered £5-6 million we might answer the phone

I don't think some of you realise what you may be getting on loan.

I know we don't really need a central midfielder, but if an option this good comes available you have to take it.

Really can't see it happening though, there would be takers from the top half of the Championship, surely?

9 full games in PL this season so far at 18 years old !!!!! he came off the bench last Saturday at Wigan..and was better than Ramirez .... We all assummed he would start against Man City next week.. that's why this news is a surprise.

If SISU make a £5m offer for a player I will arrange to have a naked wrestling match with Louie Spence in a vat of vegetable oil!

I think we can shelve this one in the 'too good to be true' category.
