Be a good shout, thought he was pretty decent for us.

We dont need him. We have enough midfielders. We need strikers and defenders. If Murphy goes, possibly a new keeper. The one thing you dont do when your C-Units of owners give you a minuscule wage budget is sign players in positons where you already have enough players. Good player, but in our current situation, not what we need

Better player than Thomas but doesn't add that grit we do need in Midfield.

I think we should go in for him if we was selling fleck or Thomas,he's a tried an tested player for ccfc.
What about Scott shearer as a experienced keeper that's wages should be in our reach if Murphy does move on.

He didnt do great when he was here the 1st time. Cant see him coming back (Shearer). I'd prefer someone similar to Joe, someone younger, someone on low wages. I'd go for Scott Flinders from Hartlepool

I'd take Bailey back, as long as we were signing the Bailey from the early days, and not the one from later on on his loan spell.

Just a thought about Bailey, wasn't he out of favour under Clough at Derby when he came to us? So why would he want him at Sheff United?

Fleck and Thomas

Barton has been told he can leave and Daniels isn't very good. Who else do we have?

I seem to remember him actually being quite complimentary about Bailey, just saying it was unfortunate for him that he had other players ahead of him like Bryon and Will Hughes.

I suppose the only other central midfielder, is Prutton who we're rumoured to be offering a contract too.
