Admittedly we can't sign anyone under the current transfer embargo, but James Bailey doesn't look to have a future at Derby after being made avaliable for a transfer.

Would you sign him permnamently and What other area's of the pitch do you think we should strengthen once we exit the embargo?

talking about people going in the opposite direction. A Huddersfield friend off mine asked me about Cyrus Christie today, told me that Robins wants to sign him.

That situation confuses me, Not long ago you had Twitter posts from the likes of Conor Thomas, William Edjenguele and Gary McSheferry indicating that situations might be about to change yet this is not confirmed by the club, so makes you wonder who is wanted and who isn't?

Theo Robinson would be a good addition at this level, very pacey and got a few goals for Derby in the league above.

Bailey to me was pretty dreadful after his loan was extended, but we could do worse.

No way will Brandy or Grigg end up here, both will go Championship.

It might well be pointless, Valiant - but isn't it nice to have a thread about football!

I would sign these players if this was Football Manager

Gary Taylor-Fletcher
Daniel Butterfield
Papa Diop
Chris Zebroski

But it's not, it's shit creek

No, just no. I'd rather have Reece Brown back. Bailey was good before he came back, after that it seemed like he didnt care. He was awful, lazy, uncommitted, i wouldnt want him back. Derby have some very good players we could get for free and we have a good relationship with Derby after the Keogh, Ball and Bailey deals, although done of those deals benefitted us

Maybe, but I want to remain positive instead of the deep depression of a state that the club is currently in.

I understand that, but as with last season,we'll end up with freebies and the crap nobody else wants.I cant see this embargo being lifted anytime soon.

I believe the academy players will be used. This is what Elvis does.

I'd be very surprised if anymore than 3 players come in once the embargo is lifted.

Yep and having conversations going round in endless circles about the Ricoh, ACL, SISU and the council isn't pointless at all.

Don't want passengers like Bailey at the club. Showed why Derby want rid with his displays from Feb onwards.

He's seriously thick, too...I mean not just footballer-thick, but borderline retarded.

It is a pointless thread and as another poster points out, it only really has any relevance if you are planning your Football Manager targets. Not to mention that most of those mooted on here would be out of our league even if we weren't under embargo. Looks like it's going to be a long summer of utterly pointless and meaningless transfer gossip!

Yes but you read some of the comments and wonder if these people actually realise what condition the club is presently in! Do they know what an Embargo is?

James Bailey before Christmas, yes. James Bailey who was never the same after he pulled up injured V Crewe and after his spell was extended, no!

You make a good point and one that I agree with. Imagine how next season would pan out if the squad got as downbeat and negative as a lot of posters on here do, doesn't bear thinking about. The players must be as pissed off as we are, they don't know what their future holds any more than we do These same posters would then be the first to criticise the team for being dejected, lacking motivation and playing badly when their only crime is having the same mindset as those who supposedly support them.

Dont rate him at all. Constantly gives the ball away. Never goes forward.

Absolute gash. No thanks. Seriously worried if this is the standard people want now.

We have fallen so far. I do not even relate to my own club.
