Adams pips him.

Great goal from Bailey, my mate literally just said, "there's no chance we'll win this now."

Very strong, great tackler, always stays on his feet, good passer and has quiet a creative side to his game! Championship quality player!

Class absolute class. They must have some great midfield players at Derby for them to let this lad out on a season long loan. Is the loan with a view to perm?

MOM without a doubt ,never put a foot wrong and settled straight back into his role ,which is not always garuanteed after an enforced absence .The Half volley Icing on the cake ,and securing what were a vital 3 points as we're on a knifedge as far as our season ends up.

I don't think so, I do think we'll sign him permanently though, which would be a great signing, regardless if we get promoted or not.

Doesn't his contract with Derby run out in the summer?

2014, unfortunately, but, at least we'll be able to get him on the cheap.

Nigel Clough acknowledged that they have 'better' (for their system and style?) CMs starting and on the bench, if that's the case, we can get him for at maximum, 200k, possibly even 100k, which would be a bargain (in football terms!)

When you look at him, Moussa, Thomas and Fleck/Jenno(at times). We have a very technically good midfield.

I don't rate him usually - careless in possession and useless without the ball. Today I eat my words. Got stuck in with 3 big interceptions and much more composed on the ball. More of today please!

Had high hopes for the lad from day one and hes living up to those standards!

Really rate him and glad we've tied him down til te ed of the season, at least!

Odd interview post match on CWR though. Just didnt seem to get anything out of it! Cant even recall if any of the questions were answered. Just kept talking to people in the background sounded like!

Probably caught up in all the excitement though as didnt sound like it was done through ignorance!

I think his contracts up at the end of this season too, am sure I read it in an interview somewhere. Thought he had a cracking game today, is a real competitor.

He is definitely contracted until 2014. He initially signed a 3 year deal. He was made available for transfer and then bizarrely given a 12 months extension. I think it's Derby protecting their investment. He is a class act and would be be a great permanent addition. A couple of years back there were a lot of Premier League teams in for him. Clough seems like he is happy for him to go as well.

No team in this league has a better squad than us in terms of technical ability. It has taken us a while to get running and adjust to this league a lot of the other teams have been here for a while and have built there squads. The only thing we are missing is two top strikers that would be killer.

We're not missing 2 top strikers?

We play 1 striker upfront, with Clarke and Elliott, we don't need 2, we more than coped with McG...

You always need two top strikers, whether you play one up front or not. Were not killing teams off from the opportunities that are being created. Clarke is the most unsuited player you can find to play on his own.

To be fair to him the long balls that were being played up to him today were not the type he could bring down and pass back they were beyond him meaning he could only try to flick them on to no one. I also thought he marked himself out of things at times.

With mcgoldrick in 4-5-1 he can turn, drop off, take people on. Clarke is a square peg in a round hole. Maybe he will get better but i doubt it.

If we dont finish these games off our luck will run out and we might just miss out on the play offs.

His hair has a lot of body, but I don't think it's a perm.

He's a cracking player, i think the one part of his game he really needs to improve is his off the ball movement when we're in possession. Just at times he seems to get stuck in the middle and doesn't give players options.

But the rest is great, he really presses well. Wish he was quicker on the break though!

We're a league 1 club, how can we afford 2 more 'top strikers'!?

You need 1 'top striker', and a decent cover striker, because, as we seen with McG, he started every game.
