Latest. Sounds positive we could see him soon hopefully.

Asked how the player is settling in, Lampard said: “Very good, training well, getting fitter. So we’ll see, he’s got another nice long week for him to get training and get accustomed to it and to adapt a little bit to what we’re doing. But he’s trained really well and been a very good around of place. So yeah, very happy.”

Are we likely to see him in the u21s first for a run out?

Not writing off Yang ming just yet. But does not seem like a game changer.

But we do need to see what this fella looks like. We have limited time to experiment as games running out thick and fast.

Then get an idea wether its Yang Ming or Markelo can make an impact as sub.

He cost more than the majority of our starting XI!! He should be starting ahead of Sakamoto and Esse!

Esse probably has the highest ever transfer fee for any player whose played here

Sounds promising. Not sure where it leaves Minny though if Markelo starts making the bench!

Not sure but Minny isn’t a game changer in anyway. Just to make the numbers up.

Markelo is a very direct player, strong, fast, threats and will give full backs a nightmare.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do for us.

He's just a little higher - but if you adjust for inflation it's quite a bit more.

Joe Cole is also up there (but lower than both - even inflation adjusted)

Just Googled him and I can't believe he was only 25 when we signed him. He seemed to have already been around for ages and always looked much older. Still think we'd have stayed up if we got him sooner, but that was a hell of a deal to sign him for free and sell him after 6 months for £6m. Great player too, really liked him.

Thought he’d be a real clogger from his reputation but was a proper classy player.

Sky Sports did a show on Hartson as part of their Transfer360 series (imagine it will be on catch up_. Really good watch. If we'd have signed him when we were initially supposed to, he'd have kept us up

Same.

Never really wanted a dog but I have to admit, Clumsy Twat has fitted right in.

Richardson said we paid £750,000 for him but denied on BBC we were paying Wimbledon £15,000 per game (he played 12 times for us) but said they were being paid in blocks of games. So who knows how much he cost?

I'm really annoyed he played.

Saddles said he was nowhere near ready and wouldn't play for us this season.

Didn't really have much to do so couldn't really tell.

One run and a bit of an over hit cross.
