Is this fact or did you just pull that at of your arse?

He could have had Petrasso but didn't go for him because we weren't playing with wingers, it was in the telegraph in preseason.

You really think Port Vale are paying Marshall more than we were? You think Marshall was on more than Swanson, O'Brien who were brought in to replace him?

Almost as laughable as people claiming Seaborne left because we couldn't afford him a few weeks back.

Swanson and O Brian admitted they rejected other offers as we offered the best deal. Barnsley said they couldn't compete with our deal.

Poor briefing notes from your leader there Council Jack.

Hopefully he has his eye on someone of quality and needs to combined wages.
Kirkland?

Think you find it was Seabourne suggesting it and people on here questioned what he said.
Maybe you not reading threads properly is more laughable

Scott Loach, a player who has been called up to England squads in the past went to Bury on loan last week. He's also not made of glass and a better age.

So Swanson and O Brian and Barnsley are lying then? Of course they are dear.

It's pretty laughable though. We can't afford Seabournes wages but could still afford to pay the wages of all the new signings....odd.

Seabourn left because he was hopeless. If only we could realise players were hopeless before signing them.

The key point here is that Pressley has once again shown he can't spot a player. Which is exactly why we have a sub-standard squad that is consistently outplayed by our opposition, whichever division they may come from. There are no excuses left. Pressley is a poor, poor manager. I love his passion, I hate his ineptitude. There's only so much blame he can lay at his players' feet.

Are ALL these players really hopeless or is SP just playing a hopeless system with hopeless tactics?

The point is you conveniently believe the tripe spouted by a crap player booted from the club and ignore the evidence of other players and more importantly other clubs.

Nope he spouted the crap and everyone on the thread disagreed with what he said.
I said it was unlikely his replacement was on less wages.
There is some crap getting spouted unfortunately its here

And if they start playing shit again after 3 games do we then sack that manager.

You get what you pay for there is the odd exception but we are never that lucky.....

So you are saying that SP has had the money to spend on wages that other clubs can't compete with but you still want to keep SP :thinking about:

Because he's the best finisher that Prezza has ever seen. Scoring goals is not part of our DNA.

Must have been Jackson involved with the altercation after Worcester, in my opinion hes the biggest goal threat we have.

Have the club even confirmed this? Is it just a rumor?

1. We don't see the players train.
2. We don't see their attitude in the work place.
3. We have a lot of youngsters who need the right influences around them.
4. We are in the free transfer and loans markets, often giving players the opportunity to resurrect their careers. But their attitude and desire has to be correct. You often can't gauge that until they are in the door.

SP has a lot of work to do and still has to prove he is the right man. In effect he has had one transfer window to try and get players in (while we were at Northampton). Too many on here have taken post match comments out of context and put their own spin on it. Too many seem keen to believe rumour and speculation. Also lots of people post he needs two wingers a DM, a keeper, and central defender. Easy isn't it, when you don't have to source the players yourself, don't see too many names put forward.....it's a four year job.

I remember saying Miller might be a useful signing while many dismissed him.
Everybody was too busy raving about how many goals Tudgay was going to get?

Letting Simeon Jackson go is hilarious, hopefully he's still around when a proper manager is in charge. Miller was a gamble and needs regular game time to recapture his Crewe and early Sheffield United form.

Now I shall sit here quietly waiting for Stupot's response.

**xmas Morning In The Pressley Household**

SP: here you go dear, I bought you a toaster.
Mrs P: but this keeps burning the bread!
SP: never mind I also got you a washing machine (well, borrowed from next door)
Mrs P: Steve! It's ruined all my clothes!
SP: Danmit! I've had enough of appliances not doing what they should! I'll banish them from this house!
Mrs P: any other presents?
SP: oh yes, I got this BetaMax player, I know it hasn't seen action for a while but I'm sure it'll solve the lack of entertainment problem in the front room...

Santa just isn't the same since he was taken over by a hedge fund. Elves laid off and production moved to China.

Regarding Jackson, obviously has ability but if he was that good, he wouldn't have been available to us to begin with.
