US citizenship isn’t passed down from grandparent to grandchild.

You don’t have to be a citizen to play for the national team. It’s a FIFA rule

For the US its 4 ways
- Birth there
- US passport
- Naturalisation (lived there for minimum time to gain citizenship)
- Ancestry (through parents or grandparents)

According to a yank mate, he might be if they want him. His dad didn't stay in the US long enough to automatically pass citizenship on, but it's easy enough to fix that if they want him for the US Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Those early games this season, where he would disappear for large chunks, that's gone now. I think whether we go up or stay in the Championship there will be enquiries in the summer. However, he's playing under his hero, and clearly loving his football. Jack will stay another year, and I wouldn't entertain any offers under 20 million.

I don’t think he did go missing early on really anyway. He’s been our best player all year. Thought it was a massive coup to get him - can’t believe we didn’t face more opposition

And to think @ThatCovPod thought the answer to our midfield problems at the start your the season were Matty James and giving COH what he wanted ….. Neither player would be in this team and we might have taken longer to discover Rudoni’s best position.

Rudoni has made the WhoScored team of the season. Interestingly, no Hamer in this one.

Sensational headlines as usual. If you read the article it says that is what we paid for him, and Leeds would have to pay 4 or more times that amount lol

The USA called him up at the start of last season but he couldn't get a visa (before Trump). If they want him, they will sort it out.

As others have pointed out, you didn’t need citizenship to play for a country, so quite possibly!
