Paul Telfer's work rate was excellent, it didn't make him a great player though. Most of his work rate was avoidable if he had a footballing brain.

Work rate is one thing. Work rate coupled to end product is another level.

It’s crazy to think that last time we played Boro, Rudoni was at left back.

There‘s a bit in one of Lampard’s interviews after the game where we talks about how the two of them stayed late on Thursday to work on cutbacks into the box, and here he is scoring one in the match. I really like their father/son dynamic.

Their relationship is a big reason I'm convinced he'll stick around for another season regardless of what division we are in.

Said that Lampard was his idol as a kid now he gets to learn 1 on 1 from the master.

His work rate was superb today and he turned over a lot of ball for us. He won us a lot of possession back in the Middlesbrough half.

Rudoni out scores COH, provides more assists than COH, can take corners and free kicks. Okay COH might buzz around like a kid who has had too many smarties - but Rudoni has been a massive upgrade.

Rudoni is putting in performances akin to Hamer in 22/23. He’s given us that bit of X factor in these last few games!

But then didn’t the next game so Frank didn’t “put a stop to that”. The weird shit people have to make up. Lampard has done a good job. Praise him on that. No need for make believe.

He's starting to really dominate games and he's beating players so much more than when he joined.

Don't really want to enter the debate where Rudi played for 5 mins 30 games back. But didn't he play LWB against Derby County at home as well?

What a signing he has been by the way. Such a talent and still so young.

And he's ball control is something to behold, they just can't get the ball off him sometimes.

Was gutted when COH left...partly annoyed with him for stringing us along when he had the bad injury and partly, that we didn't offer him a good enough contract, and so he left on a free (criminal in this day and age).
When we signed Rudoni, i was underwhelmed, and as i've admitted before, i thought he was lightweight and a bit of a show pony.
As it's turned out, i think we've done really well out of these 2 transfers, because Rudoni is looking like a fantastic bargain, and COH has had a mediocre season.
Thanks for proving me wrong Jack, and well done on a great season.

He wasny in his favoured position.

Lampard also then introduced EMC.

In my opinion hes got the best out of these players.

He is going to become an unreal player. The closest I've felt to to Gyokeres and Hamer. He wants it and wants it bad. He has his hero coaching him.

Whatever happens this season, he's not going anywhere. Guaranteed. I think he can be even better next year.

I think he has the right amount of ego, right now, he belongs in the Championship. When he hits 30G/A next season, I won't be bitter when we get 25mil for him.

.... Or he can help take us up now

Won’t be long now until the inevitable transfer rumours.

West Ham, Everton and Palace chase Rudoni. Chuck in Celtic as well fuck it.

If a player wants to run down is contract he can. Don't see how it can be " criminal". OH was bought in in on a free. Look at the right back at Liverpool going to Real Madrid. It happens and will continue to happen.

Really? I think he’s a seriously good player but I doubt he’s getting a move to a top half prem team.

What I meant was West Ham have been poor under Potter who is going a worse job than the previous manager. Palace would be a good option as they have good reputation for developing players .

Robins played Wright LW not Rudoni. He played Rudoni in the ten most games.

He's right. I'm sure Barcelona or Real Madrid are lining up. Man City are definitely looking at him for a like for like replacement for De Bruyne after one successful season in the Championship.

Say what you like about Robins (I loved Robins) but Rudoni has absolutely come alive under Lampard. Wilson had a great game but Rudoni was the best player on the pitch today by a country mile.

I think Rudi and Frank are committed to our promotion ambitions next season, should we fall short this campaign.

What truly baffles me is the persistent pessimism from some supporters who fail to recognise our club's tremendous assets and strengths, one of which is the fans. This mindset seems to stem from years enduring a downward spiral that has clouded our collective judgment and dampened optimism. Our club has built exceptional foundations in the last few years with forward thinking leadership, improving infrastructure etc.

Not worried in the least about losing him funnily enough. I think he stays and that’s perfect for me but if we lose him it will be for astronomical money.

Or an improved contract and the opportunity to continue his football development under his idol. Real question could be How much does Frank loves us? Does he gave the proverbial "skyblue blood"?
