11 assists in all comps now, 10 in the league and 2nd most assists in the entire league.

3 goals too.
In Hamers best season for us he had 19 G/A.

Questions are, can he beat that? And if so how much is he worth?

I heard they don't count because he used his left foot and didn't have a blue wig on.

the better question is, based on this season, is he better than who he replaced (ohare)

Great player. Love how he can beat a player and surge for the box. Superb set piece taker too. Needs to add more goals, and he does seem to disappear during spells of a match., which I am sure they are working on.
Lampard is obviously a big fan. He will be a big asset for us moving forward.

Two different types of players. But rudoni is definitely proving why we spent the amount of money on him. O'hare wouldn't have been able to play in the positions rudoni has had to do when needed.

Not as good out of possesion as Hamer who's defensive work was much under rated.
Not as good out of possesion as O'Hare either but his numbers are so superior I think he's become a more valuable player for us.

Two massively different players. Rudonis delivery from wide is outstanding, all bar two of his assists are crosses from wide IIRC, the rest of his game, particularly off the ball, is far behind either O’Hare or Hamer.

Rudoni is a better all rounder imo. But o'hare was amazing at reading the play, nicking the ball of players and going forward in a counter attack.

Off the ball in what respect?

Rudoni outperforms COH in the defensive parts of the game with the exception of COH being slightly ahead in tackles made by a few percentiles.

COH was really good off the ball before his ACL but he felt a bit less aggressive and high energy post-injury.

This season, Rudoni has been consistently the better player to COH and bearing in mind Sheff U have been the 2nd best team in the league all season, it’s quite telling imo.

Last season, COH had the chance to prove he was on the same level as Hamer and Vik when we really needed him to pull us through games and he didn’t. Really good player in this league as a supporting cast member, but not the go-to guy.

Assists are a pointless metric but I imagine his expected assists are quite high too

Wouldn't entertain anything less than double what we paid for him at this stage. Potential to go higher being only 23. Cracking player.

Personally if there is interest I’d ask for 8 figures.

Yeah pre injury/transfer interest O’Hare. I’m not a massive O’Hare fan but him and Hamer gave the midfield dynamism we’ve missed since.

Both at their peak got their foot in and won the ball back often in our half and started an attack. O’Hare was a better dribbler too IMO in tight spaces. But I wouldn’t play O’Hare out wide and I would Rudoni. As I say different types of players.

In a stats based modern game, he'll have plenty of interest in the summer.

Different players but I would take Rudoni every time has more end product and most of the goals he has scored O’Hare wouldn’t have

Teams coming down will want him! Not sure how much Man United would be willing to pay though.

Not really, how often someone can create high XG chances is a better indicator of creativity than how many assists they get.

Rudoni and O’Hare are different players. O’Hare would often pick the ball up and drive at the opposition. He’d cause all sorts of issues that way. He was the energy and engine driving the team forward

Rudoni is the creative type who likes to be on the end of that Grimes pass and set the strikers up.

both were and are extremely crucial to our ways of playing

What was the goal? One of his assists was basically challenging for a 50:50 that broke to Eccles so that evens out the Simms/BTA one for me.

Think it was home to Millwall where he hit the bar when it looked easier to score.

If he doesn’t make the tackle, it’s not a goal so he’s facilitated the goal which is essentially an assist.

He’s had a good season and made a mockery of some of the takes that there made about him earlier in the season.

It’s one of the crapper assists though. His others are what you think of: intentional crosses or through ball to someone. One of the many reasons assists can be a crap stat really. A bit like whoever it was who cleared the ball for that Gyokeres goal where he ran from halfway. Whereas as Nick pointed out the BTA goal that went down as a Simms assist was really a Rudoni assist in spirit.

Do you think he would be of interest to PL teams, or is he just Championship standard at the minute?

Having O’Hare in there really felt like 2 players off-the-ball with the amount of ground he covered. Rudoni isn’t a slouch but nowhere near on that ‘metric’. To be honest, that’s what made the 352 work when he was around.

If he continues racking up assists and a couple more goals, then wouldnt be at all surprised for a promoted team to be interested. At the very least they'll have a proven succesful Championship player when they get relegated.
