I’m looking to do as many of them as I can. Robins will be quite difficult I imagine.

Fantastic stuff. Puts many a professional journalist to shame with your research and the way you encourage the players to open up. Jack and Tom both top blokes for giving you their time and I think it’s great that we get to know them a bit as people and not just the shirts that we expect to run around the pitch for 90 minutes without ever slowing or making an error. Some real insights from a really decent bloke I’d say.

Could not agree more. Well done to SkyBlueOl and the players involved. There's no reason SkyBlueOl why you can't make a really decent career for yourself in the media - keep working hard and following your passion - you have a natural talent for this.

Brilliant. Should be working for the Telegraph or Coventry and Warwickshire radio.

Just shows you when you do your research properly you get a very good interview.

Just like Foster, Eakin, and Turner.

O hang on a minute. Forget them.

Keep it up. Look forward to the next one.

Good stuff man! Only query is why are you calling this a podcast? For me it’s a video blog as podcast are audio only. Grimmer seems like a good guy

TBF Vodcast is a horrible word and lots of podcasts have video as well.

This interview and how well Jack comes across is why I enjoyed last season so much.

Beyond some very memorable performances, the players seemed like decent lads who got along well together. For example, Grimmer, Davies, Stokesy, Jodi, Max, Burgey and even McNulty were not lads walking around with big egos - seemed to be a great team spirit and togetherness. Best evidenced by the celebrations after Notts County. Shame Stokesy still isn't around as he's a great lad and would be a good interviewee. McNulty always interviewed very well similarly.

Interviews of footballers usually make me cringe; but Ol is doing a great job of asking the right questions and letting the players talk without the usual cliches.

Well young man i thoroughly enjoyed your video blog and think you did an excellent job, you have an excellent future in media ahead of you! I liked the way you researched your questions to ask Jack Grimmer and teased out information that would normally stay unsaid. word of advice for you would be if you want to drink during the interview ensure that you have a beer mat on the table to stop the off putting bang during the video also you need to wear a nice open neck shirt and trousers to do the interview with as your tee-shirt can be a distractions with all its logos etc. on the whole you did an absoloutly brilliant job. WELL DONE! look farward to your next one

great stuff.. our family favourite player of last season.. seems like a top bloke too.

If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to include things like videos of the goal you discuss with him at those points the video, as lets be honest they can never be viewed enough times

Really like it Ol. You leave them to do the talking but just prompt them with your questions. Excellent interviewing style.
