Saw him in a couple of pre season friendlies the year before last. He looked great to me. A real combabative midfielder who broke up play and could pass the ball too. Hope he does come back. He could be the midfielder we have been missing.

At least you've seen him. I have no clue if he's any good or not!

Ah. Nathan Cameron and Adam Walker used to stand out in the generation I watched on and off, so maybe the quality of opposition distorts

Remember Boothroyds first game picking Cameron and thinking "is he mad?"

He was absolute quality in the development teams. Was amazed he didn't make it with us.

Mind you, being big and large when in a youth team probably helps... but he was calm and assured, too.

That said, he could be playing at a higher level than us next season!

Yes, but he was an absolute revelation! Like Northern, I was convinced of his quality. Some of his passing and heading were top drawer. It all seemed to go to pot, and I still don’t really know why his progress ground to a halt. I think I came to the conclusion that he was just too bulky.

I can't remember who we played, but there was one game where absolutely everything Cameron did went wrong and it was like it broke him.

Obviously didnt break him seeing as he has gone to make a fair few appearances at Bury... Look at some of the players we have released over the years, who some thought were not good enough for us, one bad game dont make a bad player. There are still people that swear blind Ben Turner is shit due to making some mistakes when he was around 19 - 20 years of age.

Broke him here I mean, he didn't look confident at all from that game on. I know he didn't retire from football or anything like that.

I remember that game too. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Only other time I recall was with Kevin Kyle. Remember that game?

Ended up sadly with pretty much all the fans laughing at him he was so bad.

Ah, the old youth player hardly anyone's seen play so he's world class. We can end all this is 20 seconds. Get him back, wait for him to miss place a pass or something within the first 20 seconds then he'll instantly be shit and we can all move on.

I remember seeing Liam Davis play in Richard Shaw's testimonial against Celtic (I think that was it) and he looked sensational. Rounded the keeper to score after beating 2 defenders and I thought he was going to be a star.

If I remember he always seemed a little bit timid and scared, so did Julian Gray but always him absolutely booting somebody off the ball one game too.

There was one televised game where Davis came on and I'm sure set up a goal, either way he looked ace and I thought he'd be in the team before long.

I do - His uncle kept telling me 3-4 years ago! I worked with his uncle then and would get regular updates but like yourself, I've never seen him play.

My favourite memory in football is watching my then 21-year-old cousin play out of position at right back when CCFC played Sphinx in a preseason game and mark Julian Gray out of the game so badly that Gray asked to be subbed off because he was getting too annoyed and close to kicking him in frustration.
