The big match revisited never seems to get past the 80s. I assume don't have rightd to any 90s footy?

The big match was the name of the show, it had finished by the 90s. Sky had exclusive rights to show live top flight football (and highlights) from 92 onwards and BBC had rights to show highlights only.

Sure I remember watching Liverpool Vs West ham on big match in 1990. Ended nil nil but I was looking forward to it so much. Grobblear was playing.

They may have 90-92 available

It only lasted a minute .
Ramsbottom hesitant for theirs . Lloyd with 6 goals by that point in the season.
Obviously Oggy was a nipper somewhere but that geezer playing cricket until 5-00pm and then keeping goal for Millwall at 6-30pm could give him a lesson.

Dave Thomas (QPR) looked good!!! Hilarious when the QPR defender went down and he was hauled off by the goal keeper and physio, no stretcher!!

Loved seeing the old Highfield Road, could almost smell the place!!!

Funny hearing some old chants you don't hear now. For example 'Coventry *clap* *clap* *clap*', when did we stop doing that?

Always remember from childhood the small light blue 'disabled cars' by the corner flag, and there they were in the brief highlights

Mr Perpetual Motion, who alongside Terry Yorath did the spadework and made it possible for that team to play with such crazy attacking flair

I looked at his career stats...a good return goal-wise for a midfielder, but sadly his time at Cov was his career highlight...after leaving, it never really worked out for him...maybe injuries were a factor ?

Was Tommy signing books today?

Surprised Robins didn’t shove a contract under his nose whilst he was signing away - would have been better than Jamie Allen

(Satire aside, never got to see him play, before my time but I’m sure that even now he could move quicker than Godden, Waghorn, Allen,….)
