He has made some mistakes. But I think the vast majority of fans are still behind him. He was obviously a great scout.
He is a rookie manager. Ranson would have helped him with the football side of things. But neither Dulieu (nor Clouting before he went) can help him on football. It must be hard and lonely with those above and around, so we should just IMO get behind him and the team
