Name me a keeper that has no faults?
He didn't have his best year last season but that could have been put down to number a reasons. The previous seasons he has been the best keeper in the championship imo

.....
1) I cant but there are plenty in the premiership more consistent and with less obvious faults.... control of box, control of kicking, distribution....
2) reasons are fine but we are comparing actual performance and as you said he didnt perform as well last season. All players at what ever level will have things that affect their performance he isnt unique
3) your opinion and totally valid, i would never argue otherwise, but dont attribute negative feelings to others who do not share your opinion. In doing so you try to restrict the same right you wish to enjoy yourself..... the right to freely express an opinion

Westwood is a decent keeper, has been one of our better players probably because he had so much practice on match days !, but dont assume that will be the case at another club or in a different division

Wish him nothing but good luck in wherever he ends up and yes he has been valuable to CCFC over the last 3 seasons

OSB, do you rate Murphy? he seems a decent enough keeper. Would love him at City and then take Kieran's Ireland spot!

yes he seems a decent keeper..... and keepers is the one position that CCFC have had a decent track record with over the years. So if we took him on I would back that judgement plus he has Oggy to improve him further

We've always had good keepers because we've always needed them to keep us from relegation, good luck to KW he's done his bit for COV

Il give him a standing ovation if we ever play against him saved us a lot of games and always clapped the fans at the end if each game, I can see why he's going to the prem cause he us destined for good things and he doesnt deserve to be stuck in the championship with a small wage, good luck kw

I'd be happy with what he has been earning.

As would I, but we don't have the earning potential of an international goalkeeper.

I really dont agree with all this good luck Kieren bollocks! You don't wanna play for my football club anymore, for whatever reason whether it's money, ambition etc then good bloody riddance, we will get someone that does. Its all well and good giving standing ovations and wishing the best to ex players until they come back to haunt us. Then it'll be a loud chorus of City reject all round me thinks. Dion Dublin? Calum Davenport? John Eustace?mouss hadji? The list is endless and Westwood is just another name on it. Will we all be saying good luck Marlon aswell??? No chance!! If Marlon goes we will be just like every other set of fans were last season, if not worse cos he will have totally judased us. You can't tell me Kieren Westwood gives a flying wotsit about us!just my opinion.

I would wish Westy all the best when he moves to another club.

He has been a top player for us and always given his all.
In my eyes he has deffo earned my respect and is one of the few ex players who should be clapped if they ever play against us. ( that's if he does move of course )

Westwood is a averagely good keeper, cant kick the ball and made plenty of gaffs, plus he whined at the fans a lot. he can go, Murphy is a better keeper, as are many other keepers in our league and the league below. good riddance to him

I m with steve to a degree. Don t bear any malice but once they go i forget them, history, move on. Dont go with the nauseating love ins! If a player loved a club enough they would put it ahead of anything else. I dont begrudge him putting himself first but i m not going to get all dewy eyed on his return either
