So,

you can only go to one as they are at the same time, which would you choose ?

1) your best mates wedding
2) cov in final off play offs
3) Your down to the last 8 on "Red or Black"

Number 2 of course!

If City were in a play off final you could offer me 10 grand to miss it and I would turn you down flat!

City every time!

My best mate would know not to get married on the play off final date just incase!

And I don't know what number 3 is...

"Red or Black" was the Ant and Dec show that starterd lst night...

1000 people start, you pick red or black and if it wins your through to next round. It continues until last one gets a chance of a million pounds.

It was cack and fixed !

Ahh, that would explain it.

Have to admit I am very much an ITV snob. Don't watch anything at all on ITV. Think the last thing I watched apart from football was a Columbo episode.

I have never seen X Factor, or Pop Idol, or Britain's Got Talent and have never seen any Ant and Dec show.

Quite chuffed to be honest!

Admirable. I too avoid anything to do with those three letters and I think the synopsis of "Red or Black" pretty well justifies it. It is the representation of everything that is wrong with 21st century pop culture. It's one of those horrible "pap mags"/celebrity gossip columns for people who can't read.

So that's choice number three out of the way. Now I'd probably convince my best mate to have his wedding round the corner from Wembly as I do require the opportunity to avenge his best man's speech earlier this year... But Cov in the play-off finals is quite literally a once in a lifetime opportunity as our history of finishing top 6 indicates.

Who would want a best mate who would do something as insensitive as that!

I have successfully gained great bollockings at least three times by starting the wedding with a bowl of soup, sloping off to see my beloved Sky Blues and then reappearing nearly three hours later to carry on the rest of the proceedings.

I mean why don't these poxy wedding organisors consult the fixture list first - you know it makes sense.

You are so right about the pop culture thing for sure.

Was listening to radio 5Live yesterday and they played a really awful song sang by this Australian guy on the Oz version of X Factor. Apparently he had written it himself and all the judges derided him about it and he was voted off. The song was just really naff, pish-poor and just totally bland. Anyway, as he was leaving the stage after being kicked out he mentioned that people should check out Youtube and that the song was available on there and as a single.

Well guess what, the thing got stacks of hits on the internet and people bought the single and it's now in the charts!

my "main" pic of our wedding day with all of the family was ruined, as my brother told me we were losing 2-1 just as the photographer took the pic.

Still laugh about that when I look at that pic.

Thing is, the last report before that was just as the wife walked down the asile, and my brother (best man) said "we are 1-0 up".

I told the wife our date to get married had to be on a Friday morning to be sure of not missing a game. Ended up doing the horrid deed in June as well.

Has to be number two. Would even of missed the birth of any of the kids for it.

Think how happy you would be if Cov were in play off final and got promoted and compare that to winning 1million pounds. I'd be much happier with a Cov promotion! Money cant buy you happiness
