Don't know why I bother

Call it what you want or dress it up as you want, it is people giving CCFC money.... Of course it reflects the argument when you keep going on about what majorities are and aren't doing.

You can't pick and choose or exclude things when it suits.

The majority of fans have given up on the club and that is painfully obvious by the gates. Sucess may bring some back, granted, but is it likely after so many seasons of disappointment? The club is tainted under sisu and not everyone can forgive and forget.

Don't know why I bother said:
Nope, people just wanted a well deserved day out and who can blame them for that? They didn't return to the next home game which says it all really

As long as people are putting money in they have no reason to sell

One reason for not returning may have been that we were getting relegated after a dismal season. Given that 43 or 45000 fans showed up, shows the potential is still there. Not that we would ever get 45000 on a regular basis, but there is obviously a pool of potential support out there. Don't see the point of decrying a good thing. Slag SISU off for virtually everything else, but not the one time we won something and had a day out which was value for money.

We had 16k at home for burton Albion when we were doing well the season before last. The majority don't give a shit about sisu they just don't want to watch crap football. If we did we'll gates would go up. If we were in the championship we'd get 20k sisu or no sisu.

The more money the club lose the quicker they will want to sell it and the cheaper the price. Remember, we do have a buyer in waiting out there

What you want to do is put the club in a situation they may never recover from, regardless of new owners. You clearly haven't thought it through...

Where to begin..

afan4life said:
if you so called fans on here had purchased more over priced season tickets

At £13.50 (on average a game, early bird prices) I would argue that the ST prices were well balanced compared to many in the local region and in the same division as CCFC.

waxing lyrically on about the amazing new signings (has-beens,journey men and surplus stock sale items)

Journey men, has beens? 9 players signed this summer at an average age of 26 years. The signings have been strong too IMO.

afan4life said:
we would not have to sell every player someone shows the slightest interest in

Have we officially "sold" someone this window, no.

afan4life said:
ps George Thomas will be sold.....and again YOUR fault

George Thomas is out of contract, therefore he can't be "sold" and even if he does move on it's his perogative. To lay the blame at the fans who have purchased tickets, merchandise, etc, for the upcoming season is naive.

To summarise; Go back to bed and sleep off whatever it is you were feeling.

Doesn't matter, people who went to Wembley were giving money to CCFC by buying tickets. The majority were quite happy to give CCFC money regardless of owners.

Don't know why I bother said:
Yes, with people that are still throwing money at the club. If all revenue ended tomorrow they would have no choice but to sell the club. They could liquidate the club and lose everything but with someone waiting to buy that would be very unlikely.

Who would buy a club with no income?

I've got very little income, and I'd buy it (just not for as much as Joy would want!)

My wife was talking to Gary Neville for a while during the Manchester airport bomb scare a few weeks ago. He asked who she supported then laughed when she said Cov, says it all really what we have become. Apart from that was a nice bloke

He is usually a patronising bell end, so wouldn't have expected anything less.

Do you think he wouldn't have laughed is she had said any other lower league teams? To people like him most of the Premier League don't count, so it hardly says it all.
