We're at Brighton, where is his best position centre midfield or behind the strikers?

We're at Brighton and then Pompey. It'll be three weeks before he puts in an appearance at the Ricoh, so I'll give my feedback once I've seen him then.

He plays in both, cm for a 442 formation, or behind the strikers.. He can bang them from anywhere, and has a mean free kick, as well as being left and right footed...

Scored two stunners against iceland for u21... and scored a hattrick at a canter for villa youth other day against ajax in the nexxtgen competition... He needs to play this weekend,

To be honest im dieing to see this lad recognised..

LOOK ill go as far as to say.. his better than Wilshere and Ramsay....

Andy Thorn has got an eye for the lads. If he has scouted/had this lad scouted as well as managing the first team, we need a new manager so he can return to scouting. No mention of an option to buy though.

Did this lad play in the academy last year when we smashed villa 5-0 and Gael was amazing? If so, how good really is he? anyone can score goals at youth level, we have Clarke-Harris who is getting a couple every game. Goals at u21 level is impressive but does anyone remember a certain Marcus hall getting goals at that level..?

Alright, ill let you judge then... Cant believe how most of you coventry fans are reacting...

Feel sorry for the manager...

And all you go on about is how you beat the villa youth ages ago????

This lad is fantastic... I respect those who appreciate the talent youve been given, but for those who keep on mocking him, you dont deserve him, and youll be eating your words this weekend...

Oh and just to add... On BET365... He is the favourite to score first and last goal and is only 3/1 to score at any time.. so his apparently more lickely to score than your strikers....

Don't mind them. There's a permanent glass-half-empty setting on this forum. It's extremely encouraging to hear how highly the lad is rated by multiple Villa fans. Can't wait to see him in action. Let's just hope he can stick around beyond January.

I think the issue is we've been told since the summer we'll have loans coming in and we desperately need someone with a bit of experiance to help out what is, at times, a very young midfield. As good as he may be this guys 19 and coming in for about 7 games, even if he's so good we win all 7 we'd still be stuggling to stay up once he goes back to Villa.

Seems to me he's here to get a bit of first team experiance and / or match fitness and will then go back to Villa for your first team.

It's not really a reflection on how people feel about him and more the general situation.

Sounds positive Villageezer. We do have a good crop of youngsters who've done well after being thrown into our first team so hopefully he can add what we're missing......goals.

Interesting point about set pieces. Hres hoping Sammy now steps aside as most of his this season have been woeful.

Hopefully AT has found another gem, a bit like he did with Henderson (and hes not done too badly since moving from us)

That's only fair after the amount of decent players you've poached from us over the years... And at least Manure have the common courtesy to give you a reach around... sorry a decent price

How can he be the best player in your team if he's never actually played in your team?

Yeah who's Wiltshire? Sad thing about these great loans is they come and go and nothing changes...why didn't we snap up Cork and Henderson when they were going for next to nothing at the time???!! Yeah, nothing changes!!

What a bunch of miserable b'stards everyone on this forum is. I arrange a street party in celebration of our loan signing and not one of you turns up.

Frankly I hate you all, and hope you too turn an odd shade of orange, which coincidently I have now turned after drinking a street parties worth of tango.

Hey, I don't think anyone is knocking the lad and I am sure we will appreciate his talents and if he is as good as you say he is.

With our current situation over the last 10 years, particularly the last few years us Coventry fans have become a cynical bunch and many I guess feel underwhelmed by signing a 19 year old player when we have been told we will be signing experienced loans.

Hope he scores on Saturday.
