todays result should have me downhearted, thinking its back to square one, the start of the downward spiral etc - not because im pessimistic or a glass half full kinda person, but because im a coventry fan & this is how it goes ( or so we have come to expect )

It doesnt... i was honestly expecting that today. We beat our crewe bogey, and we cant have a season full of positive results when the the football gods want otherwise!

Our ex manager - who left in acrimonious circumstances - , a load of old city players, they have been doing shit & desperate for a result. it was bound to happen. The only surprise today is that Mcshefferey didnt score the goal!!!

but this squad has more than enough quality to come again & mowbray is too good a manager. put it behind us & move on! it was shit.. it happens.. could be worse ( we could be chelsea )

I am not too down but it was a game we should have come home with a point. To get promoted these are the games you do need to be converting however. Just need to make the home form solid to compensate

No team is going to get something from every game. Not too concerned. Sure they'll get it right against Chesterfield.

Im not too disheartened either

Win you homes games draw your away games and you get promoted

So for September we have played 2 games both being away and have 3 points, win on Saturday and its all good.

Its a complete new team, they still need time to get to know each other so I'm not too worried either. I think this Ryan Kent will be a top player for us, that and we still have Maddison to come back.

I doubt they will feature together, Kent will probably return to Liverpool about the same time Maddison makes a return to playing.

It was just all so predictable though, I knew we wouldn't win. They thought we'd smash them, we thought we'd smash them... it's typical Cov that when we threaten a little run or a a decent result we don't turn up.

I am not too dishearted no but I find it very frustrating.

providing Job's dose of the Shits does not run riot through the team cos Murphy was looking a bit jaded and green around the gills on Saturday!
