What is going on!?!
We are just not used to this are we?? ....and it honestly feels a bit surreal!
Honestly think we've ridden our luck at times.... especially on Wednesday but without being "scintillating" have been just ruthless in front of goal (whilst again having a bit of luck).

So.... exactly how good are we.....?
And..can we keep this up....?

(Think Leicester and Ipswich will be serious contenders this year)

Yes I said in another post I think Leicester are better than many think. Their pending points deduction (if it comes) could well mean that autos are out for them though.
I read somewhere that their hearing date has been set, but the date is confidential. Don't know if that's true or not.

Due to start this side of Christmas apparently.
And it's the EPL case. Still got the EFL one to follow

It's like the Monkees song I'm a believer

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else, but not for me
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

It’d be a farce if they avoided a points deduction again this season and went up, which is why I think they’ll make sure it happens this season - hopefully towards the end and it means we go up at their expense.

When I read the court case is due to start pre Christmas the article said it didn't k ow when it would conclude.
But surely it needs to be done and dusted before May so any penalty can be applied this season doesn't it?

They are very long odds for the title. Bookies must be convinced of a points deduction. Great odds if you think it will be small or zero

The people in the club seem to think 9-12 is the number …..let’s see.

As there are a few posts about songs, Celtic have a good song about being top of the league which is easy to adapt if we’re top and especially if Leicester get a points deduction:

#We’re on the top of the league
Looking down on the Leicester
And the only explanation I can find
It’s the form that we have found
since Frank has been around
That has put us on the top of the league#

Decent, but i reckon Lampard's fits better than 'has'

It’s the webbed feet in their town
The inbred cunts are going down
That has put us on the top of the league#

Oh, refs seemed out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

Then we hit top place
Now I'm a believer
There's not a trace, of doubt in my mind
I'm in love
Ooh, I'm a believer
We're going up there
It's our time

I reckon no words fit & that these corny song suggestions will blatantly never catch on so pointless posting them
No point in any post, it's a forum full of pointless opinions that arent in the real world, arguably many more pointless than his harmless song lyrics.

Hopefully you find out who nicked the jam from your doughnut.

I'd love it if we came 1st and they came 2nd. Then the points deduction put them into 3rd and they lose the playoffs

we are 4/5 for promotion, Ipswich 5/6 Leicester are 7th favourites at 9/2 thats why they are getting a points deduction, bookies wouldnt be giving that away

I'm happy with it happening later in the season. If they're not going up automatically it can be held over until next season. If it gets them out of the playoffs or out of the top 2 then hit them with it.

If they don't go up this season they're financially fooked. They've already borrowed against their last Prem payments. They still have overrated players on inflated Prem wages that nobody wants.

We all know deep down it'll be a weak as piss points deduction. If any at all.

And they will fight it,delay it and probably get it reduced.

Is this the Vic Reeves version?
If so it's preferable IMO.

a colleague who is leicester fan with family who works at the club has said November (hearing for EPL) - expect point loss of 8-12, announced in February. Feb-26 for the EFL hearing with result being in April (6-10 pts) - how true this is, I don't know, but he said this to me around end of Aug

I've got a horrible feeling the 2nd charge process will run on until next season and that will help them get back to the Prem
