Quite right nobody does, although we may not agree ALL have a right to their personal point of view.

The abuse and bullying suffered by some, is quite another thing.

Please take a good look Nick, please.

No I don't think it would call sisu or the FA's bluff, and actually that's not a good enough reason to set up a Phoenix.

By all means look at the options, but do not follow it through until you've got 75-80%+ of the fanbase backing.

Does that mean everyone who currently goes to sixfields is going to stop with immediate effect. Seeing as 75-80+% of the fanbase are backing a boycott?

Strangely enough if you were posting views hating everything today with the club and were challenged in the way you are now there would be huge complaints about packs of wolves descending on you.

Strangely the defenders of the faith are missing - but still posting I see.

No it wont, the FA confirmed Wimbledon would be moving to Milton Keynes in May 2002, it AFC Wimbledon was set up in just six weeks, and a few months later was competing in the 2002/03 season. The FA would be more sympathetic and because our demise would have freed up a space in the pyramid we'd stand a better chance of letting us start quickly and possibly higher up the pyramid. Chester dissolved in march 2010, established in May 2010 and competed in the 2010/11 season. So waiting for the demise does not mean a season without a club.

Rangers too went bust at the end of the season and were allowed in the league for the following season,

The reason to register early is because the proposed 'Phoenix' is a brand new club, not an actual Phoenix.

I must admit at the start of the season I was in the frame of mind that we are here for a season, matter of time before we are back at the Ricoh so might as well make the most of it so attended games. As the season went on, I could see this was becoming more and more unlikely so stopped going and will never set foot back there. I would have hoped others would have followed this as they had seen this but sadly not the case. Don't get mad about it all however as they do just want to follow their team but there is a bigger picture which people are not seeing.

I mean Ricoh attendances. Backing the boycott does not mean they want a Phoenix.

That's a very good question. How long is a piece of string?

I honestly don't know but whilst Iv'e still got the passion, who knows?

People like many who post on this site are "lifers", totally committed but we should all remember whilst Managers, Players & OWNERS come and go, I'M HERE FOR LIFE!

Like it or hate it.

By the way, haven't accused any one individual of abusing me.

The guilty ones will know who they are and have to address their situation and live with it.

Totally respect and think I understand your point of view but .........................
this is difficult as I'm not prepared to compromise my position from what I'm told and believe.

Of course so many of the posters on this site may be right and I may be wrong, who knows?

What I do know, for the time being I'll keep to myself but please take a long hard look at ALL the other parties involved in this scenario ASAP!

That's the thing though. In our current scenario sisu is the only party involved. What does the club currently have connected to ACL, CCC or Higgs?

I know why and so does ML. He was quite right.

However please CHECK it out.

Which parties have put us in our current situation, NOT JUST THE OWNERS, FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wouldn't be changing clubs for me. It would simply be CCFC in a lower league.

I struggle to think of that abomination masquerading as CCFC in Northampton as my club anymore anyway.

We left hihgfield rd because the owners had big ideas and no money to back them up. There were no other parties involved until it went tits up financially.ml knows nothing as he said quote"we were frogmarched out of high field rd" this was not the case and as you are supposed to be a lifelong supporter you should know the history

The only thing I could say for this is that it could be used as a form of pressure on the owners. I think we need to wait and see what happens in the JR as a minimum though.

Mark, now you're talking. 'A form of pressure on the owners.' It's a plan. Some sort of strategy.
The JR is important of course.
Like everyone else, I want City back at the Ricoh next season (next game). That would be best.
With Sisu acting honourably and negotiating a better deal. Maybe taking up the more than generous rent offer and working from there. (Though better still, cutting their losses and selling up)....watches pigs fly outside window.
People saying they'll wait FOUR YEARS. Can't believe what I'm reading.
Like I've been saying for months. It would be a RECLAIMING of our club, it would still be CCFC.
If that prospect is placed in front of Sisu it would likely make them rethink.
