If my saddo stats are correct, which was -

17-Jan-09 H Blackpool W 2-1 (0-1) Beuzelin 47; Mifsud 51

So, in the last 3 season tickets worth of home games, if we went behind, you might as well have headed straight to the pub, cos you weren’t gonna miss a winning comeback!!

Our last away comeback was more recently on -

29-Sep-09 A Watford W 3-2 (1-2) Clingan 14; Best 67, 84

Which was 110 league games ago. These are our only two comebacks in our last 168 league games (It’s already happened against us 6 times this season (if you count the FA Cup game))…

Now of course we didn't go behind in all of these games (but probably a fair few...), but this shows it's not just a problem this season and so not necessarily Thorn's fault...

I know stats can be used to aid pretty much any argument, but to me this is a significant one.

Something is clearly wrong at the core of the club and has been for a decade.

Is it because we don't have an 'end' to attack in the 2nd half any more?
Is it our fitness levels?
Are we too predictable, with no plan b?
Have we not had/got anyone that can ‘change a game’?
Do loanees/revolving door of players mean no team spirit?
Have we just had/got no fight?
Or is it simply cos we're just sheeite?! Sigh…

It will be 70 in all league games home & away. That Watford game we scored first then Watford took the lead which we then reversed. In games when the opposition scored first the Blackpool one is the last time we come back to win in all games both home and away.

Simple solution.

We just need to stop teams scoring first for the next 17 games. That should be piss easy.

Could you work out how many we've thrown away from winning positions in that time? Might take you a while...

We've also been pretty good at throwing points away -

Season - Team - Final Position - Pld - Drawn when winning - Lost when winning - Pts thrown away...
01/02 - Coventry City (11) 46 3 3 15
02/03 - Coventry City (20) 46 4 3 17
03/04 - Coventry City (12) 46 4 1 11
04/05 - Coventry City (19) 46 8 5 31
05/06 - Coventry City (8) 46 5 3 19
06/07 - Coventry City (17) 46 4 0 8
07/08 - Coventry City (21) 46 5 1 13
08/09 - Coventry City (17) 46 6 5 27
09/10 - Coventry City (19) 46 5 5 25
10/11 - Coventry City (18) 46 7 4 26
11/12 - Coventry City (24) 29 3 5 21

Though we should beat our record this season...

Mind you, according to my source, we can still win the league! - http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/runin.html

This also shows how tight it is amongst the bottom 4 on current form. Forest look doomed more than we do! Keeping the faith or forlorn hope (just about)! PUSB.
